Jayden's POV:

I cant believe Bell can flip, play call of duty and got a killer aim! Well i guess i have to tell my grandma that my girlfriend is a power ranger. Im going to go see her after i drop Bell off.

"See you guys Monday." Bell tells everyone as we wave goodbye and walk to my car. "Ice cream!!!!" she yells, i jumped slightly and she laughed. "Thats not funny. You scream out the blu babe." i say, opening the door for her. She gets in and i walk to my side and get in. We put our seat belts on, "i cant help myself Jay." she says, looking out the window as i start the engine and pull off. "Ice cream!!" she yells again, "Bell stop. Im gonna get you some ice cream." i say, putting my hand on her thigh so she can calm down.

We pull into the ice cream shop's drive through. "What do you want my love?" i asked, looking over at Bell whose eyes are super wide. "I got this." she leans over and talks to the cashier, "yes i want a double scoop lava brownie cake please, extra nuts." she leans back a little, "bae what do you want?" "uh... A single scoop in a container like your sundae for my grandma and a double scoop vanilla ice cream cone for me." i replied, "um. Can i get a single scoop of vanilla ice cream, but in the containers as the sundae that i ordered and a double scoop vanilla waffle cone please." "will that be all?" "yes ma'am." "that will be seven dollara and forty-five cents." "okay." she leaned off of me and sat back down in the seat.

I drive to the second window, "seven forty-five." the cashier says, i got my wallet out of my pocket and i was pulling out a ten when Bell stopped me. "Bae I'll pay for half." she says, going in her purse." "babe i got it." "no..." leans to the cashier and hands her a ten and sit back down. "Aww you two are too cute!" the older woman squealed, "yea. When she's not acting like a big baby." i said chuckling. "Jayden!" she says, hitting my arm playfully. "Its true." i said laughing.

"Here you go. And by the way, we're funnier at that age. Wait till you get married, she's gonna be on you like white on rice." the woman said jokingly. "She already is." i said laughing. "Have a nice day." she said smiling, "you too." we said together. I drove off, "bae do i really act like a big baby to you?" Bell asks, i looked at her and she looked sad. "To be honest, you do act like a big baby." i say and she looks at me shocked, "but your my big baby." i say, pecking her lips.

She smiled, "i wanna see your granny." "she's sick." "awe what's wrong with her?" "she has lung cancer." i say, clenching the wheel. She took one of my hands off of the wheel gently and interwined our fingers together. "Im so sorry, is it really bad?" "i.. I dont wanna talk about it B." my voice came out shaky. "She'll be okay babe. Just pray okay?" she said rubbing my hand with both of hers. I took a deeo breath, "okay."

"Ice cream!!!" she said screaming when we got to her house. I already finished mines, after the talk about my grandma, it was melting a little and i had to hurry and eat it, Bell helped me with it. I swear she's ice cream crazy. Before she could get ready and get out of the car, i grabbed her wrist. She looked up confused. "Do you love ice cream more than me?" it took her a while. She got her things and got out the car. She walked to my side of the car, "when your not around i sometimes cheat on you with it." i gasp, grabbing my chest. "Sorry. He just tastes better." "oh my God Bell. Say man! You cant have my girl, she can eat you but i can eat her. Dont try anything funny or we're gonna have a problem you got that?" i say to Bell's ice cream. "Dont talk to him like that." she said, pulling her sundae to her chest. "So your defending him now? Wow." i say, pretending to be angry. "Maybe." "whatever, call me when he's digested." i say, putting my car in drive. She leaned inside the car. "Gimme kiss." she says, cocking her head side ways so that i could see her even though i was looking forward. "Kiss him." "but your better." she wined, "i love you more than i love him." i turned my head so that our lips were brushing against each other, "promise?" i say against her lips. "Promise." she says, i poke my lips out and we kiss, she liked my lips and i let her in. We kissed for a while until she pulled away, "your. Trying. To. Kill.me" she said panting. She was out the car, "your air is my air my love." i say looking into her eyes. She blushed, "i wanna see your granny!" she wined. I threw my head back, "one day okay?" "okay." she said pouting, she was about to walk off but i stopped her. "Wait." she stopped, i got out of the car, i grabbed her stuff and put them on my car hood. Pulled her into a hug. She sqeezed, "i wanna see her bae." she said against my neck. I shivered a little, "you will babe. I dont want you to see her like she is now." i said into her hair. "I know. I can wait." we pulled awat, we were holding hands, i kissed both of her hands, "will you come back after?" she says looking down. I lifter her chin up, "i'll try, my little power ranger." "oh em gee." she says laughing. "We're gonna have a power ranger war Monday after school Ms. Ranger." i said, giving her her stuff back. "Your going down, Nerf Boy." she said walking away laughing. I got into my car, "your on." i yelled after her. She turned around at the door and smiled, i blew her a kiss and she pretended to catch it and put it on her heart. "I love you!" she yelled, "i love you more!" i yelled back, "aww!" she squealed, "bye Ms. Ranger!" i yelled, "bye Nerf Boy." i watched her until she closed the door and i drove off.

I cant see her like this. But i have to. I pulled into her drive way and got out. I knocked on the door and my Aunt Jess, came to the door. "Jayden." she said hugging me. "Hi Aunt Jess." i said, pulling away. "How is gran?" i asked, walking towards my grandma's room. "Not too good Jay." i walked into the room and there was the other love of my life. My beautiful grandmother.

I rushed over to her and smothered her in kisses. "I've missed you so much gran." i say looking her in the eyes. "I missed you too sweetheart." she said weekly. "Are you getting better and taking your medicine like Aunt Jess said?" i asked. She's a little grumpy when she has to take her medicine. "Yes." she says, trying to smile. "Gran." i say in a stern voice, even though i was kidding. "Fine you got me." she said. "Baby you have to take your medicine. We want you here for a long time. You cant disobey the doctors." i tell her, tears filling my eyes. I hated seeing her like this.

"I know sweetie. I just get tired of all of this. Im ready to go." i was crying hard now. "Dont cry." she said weakly, trying to wipe my tears away. "You cant leave me here with them." i sobbed. "I wont leave you sweetheart, i will always be in your heart." she said touching my heart.

"But i want you stay forever gran." i sobbed more. "Jayden you know grandma is very sick, dont be sad. Be happy for me. The pain will finally be gone. And i heard you had a girlfriend." i lookes up, i sniffled. "How. How did you know that?" "your mom. She told me what happened with you and your dad. Dont let him break you and your love up. I want to see this lucky ladie too." she says trying to smile again.

"She wanted to come see you today." "why didnt you let her?" "i dont even know gran. I'll bring her next weekend." "promise?" "i promise." i said chuckling. I hugged her weak little body. "Lets make a video for Bell." i said, pulling out my phone.

"Gran say hey to Bell." i said into the camera. "Hi beautiful!" she said into the camera. I laughed, "Bell this is grandma, she wanted to meet you today too. We can see her Friday after school." i said smiling into the camera. "Tell her bye gran." "bye Bell" she said, pulling her famous "i can do this" smile.

I turned the record to camera. "Say cheese beautiful" i said to my gran and we smiled. I took another one with me kissing her on the cheek, and another one with her kissing me. I secretly put my phone on record again but i put it by my leg. "I love you gran." i told her. I turned the phone towards her so she couldn't see that i was recording us. "I love you more sweetheart." "forever and always?" i said looking into the camera but at her, "forever and always dear." i hugged her and i made sure i got it. I need to record our last moments together.

I hugged and kissed her once more and i told her to try to stay strong till Friday, we think she's going to die soon, i reminded her to listen to Aunt Jess and take her medicine too. I told her that i will be calling her every night before she went to bed like i used to when i was younger. I hugged my Aunt Jess and drove home.

I love that woman, the good ones always have to go so soon.
