Arabella
It was 10:30 and Cha and I had been up almost all morning just talking and laughing about our old times back in the day. We had cook breakfast for the kids and August since we had nothing better to do other than talk. "So did you talk to August about going back to NOLA?" Cha asked. I slowly shook my head yes. "He kind of just pushed me away an-." I said getting cut off by August coming down stairs with the girls. Kay was in his shoulders, Chay was wrapped around his waist and Mya was around his leg. I chuckled as I saw how good he was with him. Once they spotted me they all jumped off August and hugged me. They were such sweethearts.
"TT Bella!" They shouted with those pretty smiles "my babies." I said exciting kissing their cheeks. Cha smiled at them and mouthed "we'll talk later." Okay girls lets eat." Cha said fixing the plates with me handing them out. August wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my cheek. "Babe. Stop the girls." I said giggling at Kay's ew's and Mya's giggles.
Once everyone was done with breakfast, both August and I went upstairs. I had been starting off into space, and I just couldn't stop thinking about why August didn't want to go home to New Orleans. I mean I know him and mama had there issues but other than those, he had a pretty good home life. Atleast from what I know. My thought faded away when August tackled me onto the bed and hugged me. "Ow! August." I yelled he laughed at me and kissed my cheek. I laughed at his goofiness and kissed his lips. "Baby what are we gonna do today?" I asked August. "Whatchu wanna do baby?" He asked laying his head on my chest. "Let's do something for the girls." I said smiling. "Go get dressed. I have something planed." August said kissing my cheek leaving the room.
I showered last night, so I ran to my closet and found my light pink strapless sundress. I grabbed my light pink heels to match, and wet my hair to let it hang curly. Once I was dressed, I grabbed my bag and my phone off the charger 12:00. I skipped downstairs in the happiest mood and checked my phone. I read the screen and it said miscall from Mommy❤️ I talked to her a few days ago, but other than then I haven't heard from her. I slid my screen over and called her back. The phone rung for a few times, and I picked it up. "Hey baby." Momma said. "Hi momma, how's everything going ?" I asked her. "just fine baby. I'm doing great." She said and I could tell she was smiling. "Well baby I just wanted to check on you." She said. I smiled at how sweet momma was. "Alright mama, I love you." I said making Kissy noises. "I love you to baby." She said slowly hanging up the phone. I heard big jumps, stumps, and noises coming from the stairs followed by Cha's laugh.
We gathered some snacks, and everything we needed and piled into the cars. August and I drove the car along with the girls and Cha followed behind us.
"TT Bella, whea' we going ?" Kay asked with excitement. "It's a surprise baby." August and I decided to take the girls out to the Zoo. They've never been before so we were like why not. August drove and the drive only was only about 20 minutes. Once we arrived, we sprayed the girls down with sunscreen, we grabbed our smacks and drinks, and we were ready to go.

"TT Bella look !" Mya yelled. "A lion!" Kay yelled running to the tall gates with her sister following. "Slow down girls !" I yelled trying to chase them until I felt a pair of strong arms snake around my waist. "They're fine baby, let em go." August said kidding me cheek. "Here, get some ice cream." He said shoving a spoonful of dippin dots into my mouth. I almost choked but I didn't. "Your so great baby." August said kissing my cheek. "I try baby." I said kissing his cheek walking over to the girls.

We pulled into the drive way, and it was only 7:30, good timing. "Girlies." I said turning around to see all three of the girls knocked out. They had such a great time today. They ran around, played together, watched the animals, they even touch a few. August patted my leg and kissed my check. Cha was home and I couldn't wait to show her all the pictures and things I got of the girls. Speaking of Cha, I've really been thinking about connecting August with his family again. It meant so much to Cha and it means so much to me that he has them in his life, and I'm going to make it happen. I grabbed the bags while Auggie got the girls and we made our way inside. We didn't wanna wake them, so we put them into bed and shut the door. We peeped into Cha's room and she was sleeping. She's been working so hard, I'm glad we gave her a day off. I hope she enjoyed it.
I walked into the room and plopped onto the bed, I was so tired. August walked out the bathroom and climbed between my legs wearing his joggers. "Gimmie a kiss." August said. I looked him and shook my head no and started to laugh. "Quit playin'." Auggie said whining. "I'm not playing." I said laughing. "You gon' Gimmie a kiss." He said holding my arms above my head. "Kiss me." He said. I couldn't help but get turned on by the way he was holding me. I leaned in and so did he, he bit down on my bottom lip and caused me to squeal. "Baby I need to talk to you." I said rubbing August face. "What it is baybeh'?" He asked. I looked at him and took a deep breath. "Why don't you want to go back home...to New Orleans?" I asked. He sighed frustrated. "Bella." He said pulling his hair. "Y-yes baby." I said looking at him. "My mother kicked me out the damn house. I'm her son! Her son! Afta' Mel died, afta' errthang' that happen she kicked me out! Ian' have no whea' to stay, no whea' to eat, drink, sleep, none of that! Even if I was sellin' shit was getting paid! We wasn't strugglin'!" He yelled with red eyes. "August please...just fix it while you can. She's your mom." I said. "Fuck it." He yelled. I looked at him and he couldn't even look at me. He moved from in between my legs to the other side of the bed... I touched the side of his shoulder and he shrugged his shoulders...maybe I made a mistake.

August hadn't said anything to me all morning. He didn't even come downstairs for breakfast. The girls had slept in late, because they were so tired. Cha went out early this morning because she had some hair appointments. I had been downstairs all morning. I heard small barks coming from the cabinet door. I opened it, and there was Bronxie. I was immediately filled with joy. I missed my baby, I haven't seen her in forever. I picked her up in my arms and held het as she licked my cheek. I quickly froze up and my smile went away. "G-Goodmorning Auggie." I said smiling at him. He looked at me and went to the cabinets to find something to eat. "I made you breakfast...it's in the microwave." I said getting ready to take it out. "I'm straight." He said shrugging his shoulders and leaving the kitchen. Maybe I shouldn't have brought it up.
