Dear Corinne,
We practised with our costumes on today. It wasn't a full dress rehearsal, but it was pretty close. It was going really well, until the song Little Girls. Cassie was singing it like a pro, and everyone was being awesomely annoying to her- Mrs. Pollock was nodding to herself, and smiling, which she hardly ever does.
Then my vision went wobbly, everything in me felt cold, and my mind went blank. For a few moments I couldn't see anything, then I opened my eyes to see a dozen girls leaning over me.
Cassie: are you okay?
Then your face was there, too.
You: how about you take a break.
Rina helped me up and supported me as I walked to the edge if the stage. I sat down and leaned against the wall. You disappeared and came back with a Dixie cup of water for me. You stood by me for most of the rest of the practise. But behind you, Mr. Soren was scowling at me.
Love,
Leigh
