Dear Leigh,
Thank you for coming to me and confiding in me. It must have taken some serious courage. But it was brave, and you made the right decision. We'll go together to talk to Mr. Harland, our principal. We'll talk to your father- you'll have to tell him everything you told me. Mr. Soren won't bother you anymore.
You've been through so much- but you won't have to do it alone anymore. You have people who want to support you. Things like this are never meant to happen, and it breaks my heart. But don't worry- things are going to change. We are going to fix this.
I'm sorry I didn't stop it when I could have. I suspected something was up, but decided to give it more time, in case I was mistaken. I feel awful- this is going to stay with me for the rest of my life. I'm so sorry I didn't save you. I'm sorry I left you to feel like you had to save yourself. I will be here for you the rest of the way.
You are a wonderful girl. I hope somebody has told you that before. But either way, you'd better believe it.
It's going to be okay.
Love,
Ms. Lamarck (Corinne)
