I wasn't sure what was going on, though none of the Guardians seemed as concerned.

"Manny," boomed North. "Vat news my friend."

My breath hitched. Manny.

Jack came and stood by me, holding my hand gently in his. He may not understand all of what I must be going through at the moment but it was enough for me just to know he was there.

The beam of moonlight from the ceiling moved to a panel in the floor. It was a square with depictions of North, Tooth, Bunny and Sandy, and a 'G' in the center. The panels slid back and a massive blue crystal rose from somewhere deep under us. The light was angled in different directions, but started coming together, forming a shape above it. A figure.

It was a man, tall and slender, composed of silver ghostly light. He wore a white suit with a starlight bow tie. His face was handsome with high cheekbones and defined chin. He looked to be in his mid-40s or early 50s, with silver hair swept back from a wide forehead. His eyes were piercing blue the same colour as the gem he hovered above. The only way I can properly describe him is he had traits of Matt Smith, Tom Hiddleston and Daniel Craig all cut and pasted into a man you would definitely take notice of if he walked into a room.

Everything was quiet in the work shop. All the Yetties and elves stopped and stared. The Guardians just stood there, mouths hanging open. I took it that this didn't happen very often.

The man smiled, "hello everybody." His voice was very British. Deep and theatrical. Like the a-for mentioned actors.

No one answered.

The man descended from his high place. When his feet connected with the ground he was ghostly no more. He was flesh and bone. The man raised a hand, "I know what you're thinking. And yes, you're right. I am Manny."

I had actually been thinking 'when did Matt Smith and Tom Hiddleston have a kid' and then 'the Doctor and Loki? I ship it >:)8' but whatever. This was way more interesting. (But seriously can someone please write this and then send the link? Pretty please?).

Jack frowned, "hang on, your Manny? The big guy from up there? We're just supposed to believe you?"

Manny shrugged, "I don't know what you should believe Jack, but I am here for Natalia."

Everyone turned to me, like I would have any idea of what the hell he was on about. And I didn't.

Manny turned to the Guardians. "I'm thinking Jack hasn't told you about what has been happening recently. Well, Natalia is my daughter. When she was a baby, Pitch Black tried to take her power for himself. I did the only thing I could and have been hiding her power inside her from the day she was born. Too late for her Mother though." His eyes looked sad at that moment, like he'd lost something very dear to him.

"So vhat do ve do?" Asked North.

Manny smiled, "nothing, for now. Because right now I need to talk to Natalia in private."

I frowned, I didn't like the idea of that. It was less talking to my... My Dad. It was more doing it without Jack by my side.

He squeezed my hand, as if reading my mind. "It'll be okay," he gave Manny a serious look, "it's okay, isn't it?"

Manny nodded, then gestured down a hallway to our right. "Shall we?"

As we walked down the hall, Manny and I were both silent. But what could be said? After over 15 years of almost complete abandonment, how to strike up a conversation? Being socially inept does not help here! We both sat in a window seat, looking out over the icy tundra's and mountains beyond.
