Next morning we began to plan. Some spirits could not afford to stay away from their jobs but that still left over 150 left. About half were sent out as spy's to search for Pitch and his allies. These spy's were led by Bunny. He was taking his job very seriously, acting like a commander of his own little army, even roping in Jack to be his second in command, thought that was just so he could boss him about.

The handful left included Santa, Stella, Aurora, Celeste, Lady Luck, the three other spirits of seasons (e.g. Spring, Summer and Autumn) and myself. The only problems was we didn't know where we would be facing Pitch and how the hell were we going to do it. In a straight battle he would crush us, as he had gotten so powerful. We needed to weaken him.

I was currently sitting in an armchair, sketching. I wasn't allowed to be a spy, too dangerous, I didn't have a job and I couldn't plan for the life of me so I didn't have anything to do.

North pasted the floor, "vhat ve need is a vay to veakn him."

He had been saying this for around twenty minutes. Baby tooth, who was sat on my knee, sighed from frustration and I had to agree. I looked at my sketch, it showed a beautiful little robin in a cage, the door was open but a raven circled overhead waiting to strike. The promise of freedom was so close but meant danger and almost certain death for the curious little bird. I thought the raven looked like Pitch, with vicious golden eyes. Sometimes I draw things without even knowing why.

"Ve need a vay to veaken him," said North for the umpteenth time and everyone groaned. "Vell ve do."

I looked at the slowly spinning globe, with its gently twinkling lights. I had an idea, but I knew it would sound stupid... but still. I raised my hand.

"Yes," said North eagerly.

"I just thought, you can tell if children believe in you or not with that," I pointed to the globe.

Summer smirked, and I swear the similarity to our favorite Slytherin-suck-up was palpable. (No offence to anyone from Slytherin, but Draco's hardly your best representative is he?). "Well done mortal, how'd you figure that out all on your own?"

I scowled, "I was just thinking, if you could alter the magic to pick up fear in adults we could see where is the most concentrated and there for where Pitch's power is strongest. From there we can target where to focus our attention to weaken him."

The room was silent.

"It was just a thought," I said quietly, thinking it was indeed a stupid idea.

"Natalia," said North stroking his beard. "That... May vork."

"Really?" I asked shocked.

"Yes, ve vould have to vork fast and it vould have to be very skilled vork but it is possible."

The next few hours were filled with huge magical activity. Concentrated power was poured into the globe. One by one gold lights were joined by red. These would be the adults. Oddly enough where ever the gold lights of believing children were highly concentrated there was a large amount of red lights. It seemed bad situations only made children's belief in the impossible stronger, where with grown up's it only made them fear more.

"Okay, we know where Pitch is strongest," said Stella. "Now what?"

"Well, if I know anything about fear then this is not only where he's strongest but where he's weakest," I said gazing up at the sphere as it turned on its axle.

"What," said most in the room, but some got it.

"Ah, I see," said Lady Luck flipping a coin in the air and catching it expertly. "If we can focus our powers in places where there most needed then we'll make a bigger impact on Pitch's power. Is that how you were thinking doll?"
