Chapter 3

"Hey John." Dave said still keeping his cool. "So what are y-" he turns to you and asks, "Who's she?" "Oh this is a friend of mine, (Y/n). Listen we need you to fix a disk for us... More like a video game." He asks showing him the disk. "Yeah sure I can fix this right up! Come on in guys!" He says enthusiastically and waves both of you inside his decently cleaned home. You and Dave followed John to his room were a lot of nerdy experiments are sitting on his desk. He moves all the experiments to the side then sets the disk down after grabbing all the tools he needed. He sat down and began to work on the disk while thinking of something to say to break the silence. "So... What is this game?" He asked. "We don't know yet. All we know is it's called Sburb and we found it in my attic." You say crossing your arms. He nods and continues to work.
Few hours later~
"Finished!" He yelled as he lifted the beautiful shiny looking disk like that scene in the Lion King. The disk almost looks like it's brand new! You awe at it then Dave attempts to grab it but John pulls it away. "I'll give this disk to you... Only if you let me play with you guys!" He smiles hopefully "I-" Dave started but you cut him off by saying, "Of course!" "Yay! Now, all we need is Jade and Rose!" Dave stopped and remembers his old friends. "I haven't seen them in awhile... Where are they?" He asked. "Well... We're going to have to travel to get to them..." John said kind of nervously. "What do you mean... 'Travel'" Dave asked crossing his arms. "Well, Jade lives in the jungle with Jake and Rose... She's an all time author in New York... Heh.." He said even more nervous but his expression changed to excited. "But it's worth it to see them! Right?!" "Yeah! I want to meet your guys's friends!" You added. Dave just facepalmed and stayed silent for a minute then looked up with a slight smile on his face. "To the jungle..."
