The Partnership

Soon after that, the bell rang. I grabed my stuff and left. The rest of the day was pretty boring. Exept that i had like two other classes with him.

I got home and went to my room. Life was boring. I had nothing to do. So I decided to go to the park and just relax and think or something. It was sunny outside so I figured I wouldnt have to take my umbrella. But that turned out to be a bad choice.

I started the car and headed to the park. I kind of just wanted to sit there and think. I didnt really feel like listening to music at the moment. And I really though about, was Natsu. He was so...ugh i wouldnt know how to describe him. He was just something else and I liked that something else.
Hes not the playboy type, but hes also not the boring just dont talk to me type. He was more of a lets be friends and get to know each other type. I was okay with that as ling as he didnt turn out to be a playboy.

When I got to the park, some clouds were starting to form. Butbi wasnt worried because according to my phone, today would be clear sunny skies. I started walcking over to a bench when I saw someone. He was sitting there reading a book all alone. So I decided to acompany him.

I went and sat down on the opposite end of the bench. Would he recognize me? Would he just ignore me if he did? How would I get his attention?

"Hey." OHH BALLS!!!WHAT THE HECK!?!? I didnt even realize I was gonna say that until I did!!

"Oh hey there lucy!"he said in a happy mood. There was a small pause and silence. I didnt know what to say.

He actually rememberd me.

He kept on reading his book but it was like he was lost in it. Like if the book was his world and he was living in it. He blocked everything else out and would only.focus.on.the.book.

After a couple more minutes of listening to the winds whistle, i decised to break the silence.

"Soooo what you reading?"

"To Kill a Mockinbird. Its one of my all time favorites."

"Same i love it too!"

"Yeah its really good. Im sorry i should put my book away. Sooo why are you here?"

"Oh i just come and sit and think and relax. life is boring so, why not?"

"Hmm. I do the same thing. Theres nothing to do back at my place. And theres no one to hang out with, unless if were talking about Gray but hes busy so i just decided to come here and read."

"Are you and Gray good friends?"

"Yeah you can say so. We fight but its just bro fight its not real fight. Hes the only friend I have. Or atleast the only one I truly appreciate and who truly appreciates me."

The sky was gray and full of clouds. I started getting a little but worried.
Ooooohhhhhh lord. Water drops started falling. I knew i should have brough my umbrella!!

"Great its raining."

"Yup it is. Do you have an umbrella?"he asked.

"No. I though it wouldnt rain on a sunny day like this. Do you?"

"Lucky for you, yes, yes I do.

He opened his red umbrella and pulled me closer so the rain wouldnt hit me.

And there we were. Sitting and talking at the park while it was raining.

A memory I will never forget.
