Road Trip

A week after the incident, everything had pretty much blown over, except the fact that my father got time in jail. But I wasn't sad because he had done something incredibly bad, and deserved what he had gotten. Natsu and I also had an idea that would distract us and we would have lots of fun. On Monday, everyone met up and Natsu and I told our idea.

Natsu: So guys, we were thinking that maybe we could all go on a road trip.

Lucy: Yeah it would be so much fun and we could all relax.

Levy: That is a very good idea guys! I would certainly like to go.

Erza: But exactly where are we going?

Lucy: Well I was thinking we could go to the beach.

Juvia: Ohh Juvia likes that. There is water at the beach.

Gray: Yeah I guess that would be nice.

Gajeel: That's cool with me.

Jellal: Where would we be staying?

Lucy: In a small house my dad owns.

Jellal: Okay then.

Gajeel: For how long?

Natsu: A week.

Gajeel: Awesome.

Everyone agreed with our plan and was ready to go by Friday. We left early in the morning since it was a 5 hour drive. That 5 hour drive was full of screaming and fighting, music, sleeping, and arguments that you thought would never have. But in the end we had plenty of fun. Erza was the one driving and she kept everyone under control if it got too wild. We ended up arriving at 2:30. We drove towards the parking lot and saw many other people at the beach, but the house was left alone. Everybody got their things and walked down the pavestone to the main entrance. As soon as we all walked in, jaws dropped, eyes went wide open, and the whole place was filled with ohhs and ahhs.

Natsu: Woah, this is huge!

Lucy: Yeah, we come here often.

Levy: Wow Lucy, this place is awesome.

Gajeel: You must be rich.

Lucy: No no don't say that. I hate it when people call me rich. I'm just another girl. 

Erza: Well I am certaintly glad you are not like other girls who think they are all that just because they have more money than other.

Jellal: You have a really nice beach house Lucy.

Gray: This place is cool.

Juvia: Juvia likes this place. There is water right next door.

Lucy: Thank you guys. Okay, its time to organize rooms. Erza with Jellal, Levy and Gajeel, Gray and Juvia, and Natsu and I. Everyone go pick a room with your partner.

Everyone immediately ran upstairs to get the best room. Of course I already knew where it was so lucky for Natsu and I, we got the best room in the house. Of course the master bedroom was off limits because that was my fathers but I had my own room in this house. And that's where Natsu and I were staying. After everyone had settled in and unpacked their things, we decided to go buy some food since we hadn't eaten anything in about 6 hours. We ended up going to target to buy materials and other necessary things that weren't available at the house. In the end, we spent about 200 hundred dollars on food and other items. When we were going back home, we ran into an old friend of mine. He was walking down the sidewalk alone with a grocery bag in his hand. I told Erza to pull over so that I could say hi.

Lucy: Hey Sting! Long time no see!

Sting: Ohh hey Lucy! I haven't seen you in a while.

Lucy: Yeah we're taking a break. I'm sure you heard what happened with my dad.

Sting: Yeah I'm sorry.

Lucy: Eh he was a jerk anyway.

Erza: Lucy who is this?

Lucy: Ohh this is Sting Eucliffe, my best friend, and he's also my ex-boyfriend.

I looked at Natsu and saw he had a serious face on.

I introduced everyone to Sting and then Gajeel started complaining about how he wanted to go home already so we left. But I noticed that when I introduced Natsu, he seemed a little off. We got the bags out of the car and went inside to organize everything. I soon started to see that Natsu was being really quiet and serious but just ignored it and kept doing what I was doing. After all the "hard work", we decided to go outside and sit. Next to the house there were various wood logs and a fire place in the middle. We sat there for a while and watched the sun starting to set. I went inside to get some lemonade. When I was coming back, I saw Natsu was sitting alone just staring out at the sea. I started walking towards him and sat down next to him.

"What's wrong?" I asked him. Silence.

"Natsu what's wrong?" I asked again. He got up and began to walk to the room.

"Is this because of Sting? Look, if it is, we have nothing going on, I got over him along time ago."

"Yeah I know Lucy, but you guys seemed so close" he said turning around, and then back to keep walking upstairs.

"Natsu, I have no feelings for him. We're just really close friends. That's it."

"Yeah, but the way you guys talked, it seemed like he still had feelings for you."

"Well I don't have feelings for him and I doubt he has feelings for me." At this point we are in our room arguing.

"Why are you so mad at me? I already told you that we don't feel anything for each other anymore. Or is it that, maybe, you got jealous?"

"No" he said with a denying tone in his voice.

"Mmm."

"Okay fine I did get jealous. Because I love you and I only want you for me. The fact that he is your ex-boyfriend makes him a threat. I love you Lucy. You are the only thing that matters to me. If I ever lost you, I would probably go insane.  If anyone would to ever harm you, even in the simplest way, I would probably kill them. Because you are my world. You are my everything."

He pushed me against the wall put his hands up and stared me in the eyes.

"Lucy, I cant hold it in anymore. I want to make you mine. Can I?"

"Yes"

He began kissing me and moving his hands down to my waist. We walked to the bed and did something we promised we wouldn't do. But it was okay. Because we were happy and it was what we both wanted.

We forgot about everything and everyone else. That night, I gave myself to him and he gave himself to me.

And we became one.
