Outrage

The next day, I woke up to see Virgo shaking me up and down.

"Princess wake up wake up!!!"

"What? What's wrong?"

"Your boyfriend and father are fitting outside!"

"What? Why?"

I got up, ran downstairs and out the doors to find Natsu punching my father as he pinned him down and punched Natsu in the face. I immediately ran towards them and pushed my dad off of Natsu as I helped him up. Natsu was bleeding from the nose and lower lip and my father had a purple eye.

"Father what the hell were you doing?!"

"What did it look like? I was beating the crap out of him!" he said while attempting to get back up.

"Exactly why?!" I said hugging Natsu as he gave my dad a furious  look.

"He told me he was going to pick you up so that you could go somewhere."

"Did you at least bother on asking where he was taking me?!"

"I didn't have to. I know what he was planning to do."

"And exactly what is that sir? What do you think I was going to do to her?" Natsu said still giving my dad a death stare.

"You kids were probably gonna go off somewhere and you were going to get her pregnant!"

"Well let me tell you something. I would never do something like that. Because I would never hurt Lucy in any way. Sir, I know better than to go do those things at this age. I'm going to say for myself that I am a responsible young man and I would never do anything like that. Now, if you'll excuse Lucy, she has to go get ready for school. And sir, with all do respect, next time...I wont hold back."

He grabbed my arm and dragged me into the house leaving my dad there just standing. We walked up to my room and locked the door. I went to the restroom and grabbed a first aid kit so that I could clean Natsu's wounds. When I came back, he grabbed my face and kissed me passionately. All I did was close my eyes and go with the flow even though he had a little blood on his lip.

"I'm sorry, Lucy. I would have never done that but your fathe-"

"Who started" I said looking down at my bed sheets. 

"I did" he said regretfully.

I closed up to him and hugged him. He had a surprised look on his face.

"Thank you Natsu. Thank you so much" I said starting to cry.

"Why Lucy? I punched your father. Of all things I thought you would be mad."

"He's a jerk. He deserved it."

Natsu pulled me away seeing that I had tears rolling down my cheeks. He looked me in the eyes and leaned in for a kiss. We quickly made out and then he pulled away and said "well then a guess you're welcome'" with a grin. I cleaned his wounds and changed in the restroom. When we were walking out, we passed through the kitchen where my father was. All he did was give me a death stare but I just looked away with disappointment in my eyes. We then got into Natsu's car and went to school where our little group of friends kept asking what had happened and why Natsu had scars on his lip and nose. And I had to explain it a dozen times because Natsu didn't want to talk about it. So that's kind of what we did all day. But one thing I couldn't stop thinking about was what Natsu had said to my dad. How he would never hurt me that way? What did he mean?

At the end of the day as Natsu was taking me home, I told him what I had in mind.

"Hey Natsu."

"Yeah Luce?"

"What you said this morning. That you would never hurt me like that. What did you mean?"

"Well, I mean, I assume that you wouldn't do that and well,you know,I just wouldn't hurt you that way."

"But what do you mean by hurt?"

"Well, say we did and something went wrong and you ended up getting pregnant. It's obvious that you have plans for your future, and a baby might and will get in the way of that. And that would hurt you."

"Nats-"

"Look Lucy, I care about your future. Our future. and I wouldn't want anything that could hurt us. I mean a baby wouldn't hurt but maybe right now at this age, maybe it could."

"Natsu, I didn't know you cared so much about me."

"Well, know that you are the most important thing in my life and I love you. Nothing will ever get in our way. I will always love you."

And with that I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this idiot.

He dropped me off at my house and left. As I was walking in, I saw Virgo tied up and on the floor crying. My eyes went wide open as my father approached me with another rope in his hands. I was so scared and shaking that I didn't manage to turn the doorknob. My dad got closer and closer until all I could do was crouch on the floor hoping for someone to help me. He picked me up by the hair and threw me on the couch. Then he tied my hands and covered my mouth with some tape. I was so scared I had no idea what to do. All I did was sit there on the couch. Then suddenly, someone burst the door open.

Natsu.

Just as my dad was about to start hitting me with a whip, Natsu burst the door open and rushed inside to punch my dad before he could do anything to hurt me. They started fighting once again. Virgo had some how managed to get on her feet and started hopping towards the couch.

"Turn around princess and I'll untie you!" she said through all the grunts from the two men fighting. After she untied me, I untied her and we both went outside. Luckily I had left my phone in Natsu's car. While I was running towards his car Natsu burst out the house as my father followed him with the whip in his hands. Natsu had taken off his shirt and my dad had managed to whip his back somehow. I quickly grabbed my phone and was heading back to go with Virgo when my dad put me in a headlock. He left it lose so that I could breath but as soon as Natsu started running to help me, he tightened his arm.

"Don't move! Or I will kill her!"

"She is your own daughter yet you would still kill her?!"

"Yes! Yes I would cause now because of you, she hates me!"

I managed to kick his knee and he let go of the headlock. Natsu and I ran to each other and Virgo went back inside to call 911.

"No dad! I have always hated you! Since I turned 5 I have hated you! Since I was old enough to realize that you never gave  crap about me! Since mom died!"

Natsu eyes went wide.

"I have always hated you!"

"I see. I'm sorry, Lucy, I never knew you felt this way."

"Yeah you know why? Because we never talk. You never ask me how I am how am I feeling you never even say anything. And if we do have a conversation, you always have a reason to get mad!"

"Sir, with all respect, I don't understand why you get mad at me for being a good and responsible boyfriend but don't stop to think about how you have been hurting Lucy all these years. That's just not fair."

By then, I had started crying and a few minutes later the police arrived. They took my father and Virgo, Natsu, and I stayed in the house. We cleaned up the mess that had been left and I gave Natsu one of my dads shirts since his had blood on it. Virgo excused herself and went to her room. Natsu and I stayed up a while longer talking in my bedroom. We started making out, but decided not to do anything extreme. We were excused from school the next day since Virgo had called and told what happened and they agreed that we should rest for a day.

And with that we went to bed and watched movies and ate ice cream and popcorn and listened to music until 3. After that we went to sleep in each others arms.
