Chapter 11: Hope

A/N: This will now be on first person. Not third person.

Miranda's POV:
I woke up to feet running and people talking here and there. I get up from the couch making my way to my bedroom. Mom saw me get up and called my name.

"Miranda, sweetie? Get ready. We'll be picking up Cassandra in 15 minutes."

"Already?" I ask tiredly. I rub my eyes trying to clear my vision. I looked at the clock and it read 6:15. SHOOT! I must've overslept!

"Mirando."

"What do you want Charlie?"

"Nothing. I just wanna annoy you." I shot him a death glare and he backs up running to his room. Scaredy cat.

"Miranda? Are you ready??"

"No! I'm going to be in 10!"

"Well hurry up!" Mom yells.

I grab a simple shirt and pants and some sneakers. I almost forgot about our farm! I run outside and feed the animals. The chickens should've laid eggs when we get back home.

"Miranda! Let's go!" Charlie yells. I roll my eyes. And then I realize he said my name! My real name! Not Mirando, or Mirandster, but Miranda!

"I'm coming geez."

"You take so long."

"Whatever."

"C'mon kiddos."

When we arrived at the airport we saw Cass going down the escalator. I ran up to her and hugged her. I missed her so much!

"Cass!!!!" I yell running up to her.

"Miranda!" I hug her tightly tears flowing from my eyes. Seeing my cousin that's like a sister to me again is so.... Amazing. After 7 years, I can finally relive those moments again. She's so tall, brunette haired, and blue eyes just like her mom's. Me and Cass just hug there. No one spoke. They knew what we were going through. We finally pulled away and smiled at each other.

"Cass! I'm so glad to see you again!"

"The feeling is mutual." We both laugh. We hug some more and then we sit down and chat.

"I'm so glad I'm here!"

"My soul sister is back!"

"Sweetie, we all knew I would make a comeback. I mean look at me. I'm fabulous!"

"I'm way more fabulous!"

"Girl, you don't even know it!!!" She squeals. We jump up and down like little kids.

"So! What did you bring me?" I tease.

"Guess."

"New phone case?"

"I got you a ton of stuff."

"Thanks, Cass!"

"No prob!"

"Miranda! Miranda!" A familiar voice yells. I turn around to see Dane and Nicki. They did promise hey would come to the airport with me.

"Hey guys! This is Cass!"

"Hi! I'm Nicki!"

"Hi, Nicki."

"Dane."

"Hey."

"Anyways! Let's party at home!!!"

"That's the Miranda I know and love!" Cass teases. All of us laugh  and talk about teenager stuff. After all, that's what pretty much all teenagers do.
