Hey mom" Miranda said. "Don't you hey mom me! You are in serious trouble young lady!" Miranda's mom yelled. Miranda was sad and a little furious. She went upstairs and slammed the door. The officer saw Miranda crying out the window so he went to Miranda's house. "Ding dong!" "Hello. Could I come in? This could take long." The officer asked. "Well sure." Her mom said. "It wasn't Miranda's fault. It was mine." The officer said. Miranda's mom was confused. "I saw Miranda in the park a few hours ago and I saw her sad and tears in her eyes. I asked what was wrong and she yelled at me. She said that it was all my fault. I was guilty and explained why. So, I asked her if she wanted to go somewhere to make her happy again. I took her to the amusement park and to the zoo and she felt happy again. She said that I made her day. You don't have to be mad at her. I just felt so sorry for her. I know it sounds complicated, but it's true." The officer explained. Miranda's mom felt guilty. She thought of what the officer said and she apologized. "I'm so sorry officer. I didn't know that's what happened." Miranda's mom said. The officer knew what to do so he went upstairs to Miranda's room. Miranda heard the knock at the door and she thought it was her mom but it wasn't. "Miranda. Could I come in?" The officer asked. "Sure. But you better not be my mom." Said Miranda. The officer came in and sat beside Miranda. "Hey kiddo. I've been talking to your mom and she said she's really sorry." The officer told Miranda.
"How do I know your not just saying that?" Miranda asked. Miranda's mom heard what Miranda said so she went upstairs to her room. "Miranda? I know your mad at me but, I'm so sorry honey!! I'm so sorry! I didn't know that's what really happened!" Her mom said. Miranda saw her mom bursting into tears so she knew she had to do the right thing. "I know you were just worried and I was still being punished, but you overreacted and that really hurt my feelings. It's ok mom. You were just worried." Said Miranda.
"Thank you sweetie! I love you!" Her mom said. "I love you too mom." Miranda said. As soon as the two were okay again, the officer went home. "Tomorrow after school, we could go for ice cream and pizza. How about that?" Her mom asked. "Omg! Yes!!! I would love to!! Thanks mom! Your the best!!" Miranda said excitedly. When her mom saw the clock she said it's time to go to sleep and Miranda went to sleep. "Cockadooedoo!" "Miranda! It's time to get ready for school! Wake up!" Her mom yelled."Huh? Ok. I'll be down in 15 minutes." Miranda said tiredly. "Mirando what's up" said Charlie. "Get out!" Miranda yelled. "Fine. Geez. Little sisters." Charlie said. "Get out!" Miranda yelled. 15 minutes later..
"Charlie! Miranda! Come down to eat! School starts in 30 minutes! Hurry up!" Yelled Miranda's mom. "Ok mom!" Yelled Miranda. "Hey kids. Today's breakfast is... Eggs, bacon, pancakes, and grilled cheese!" Her mother said excitingly. "Mmm..! This looks so delicious mom! You are totally the best cook in the whole wide world! It's confirmed!" Miranda said. "Really?" Her mom asked touched."Yes! Totally!" Said Miranda. "Thanks sweetie. Your the best daughter in the whole wide world!" Her mom said. "Thanks mom, and your welcome." Said Miranda. "Miranda, what are you wearing?" Her mom asked. "Uhhh a polo?" Miranda explained. "Miranda, I've always wanted to wear this but i outgrew it. So, I want you to have it and wear it to school today. Ok?" Her mom asked. "Ok mom, but what does it loo- Miranda was speechless. "Mom! It's so beautiful!! Thank you! I love you so so much! Your the best!" Miranda said excitingly. "No one loves mom more when she gives and never gets." Her mom whispered. "What?" Miranda asked. "No, no. Your my baby. I would do anything for you." Her mom said. "Thanks mom. I'm going to go change." Said miranda. 5 minutes later.... "Done! It's perfect." Said miranda. "Miranda?!" Her mom yelled. "Geez mom, you don't have to yell if your excited." Miranda said. "No no baby, you look beautiful. But, you need to glam up girlfriend! Uh. I. Um. Meant. Baby girl. Haha." Her mom said embarrassed. "No way I'm putting makeup on! Nuh uh. Not gonna happen ever!!! All hail natural beauty! And the crowd goes wild. Woo! Yeah! Go natural beauty! Hahaha. Lol. Hehehe."miranda said embarrassed. "Sweetie, meet Georgia. She'll do your makeup. Honey, please please please. Just for today." Her mom pleaded. "Aughh. Yet your the parent but I act much more mature. Sigh. Fine. But that doesn't mean I'm going to like it! Trust me." Said miranda. "Now that your done your meal, Georgia will fix you up. I can't wait to see my baby girl!" Her mom said excitingly. 10 minutes later... "Ma'am, your daughter is ready! Or should I say.." Said Georgia. Miranda interrupted "please! Don't say it! I so hate makeup always." Miranda said. "Your princess! You should totally take a picture of this!" Georgia said. "Ooo! My baby looks so grownup! Can you believe she's 13?! If she tries to be a rebel, I'll literally glue her to a chair. Oh my gosh! She's just to cute! Let me take a few pictures!" Well what do you know? She hasn't seen you in such a long long time! And cousin Jace, Amelia, Tom, and Cassandra! Maybe even some kindergarten friends ya know? You are so messed up!" Said Charlie. "Mom! Can we just go now?! I think someone's going to be on my bad side!" Miranda said annoyed. Her mom laughed. "Ok you two, let's go. I got the car washed and It's better than the truck. There are some cup holders too. One of you will take the new car when your older!" Her mom said excitedly. "C'mon CHARLIE! Let's go!!" Miranda said annoyed. 5 minutes later... "Ring! Ring!" "Wait, cass is calling. Hey cass! Really? Charlie sent you a photo of me? Haha. I'm going to go thank my brother. Yeah. Maybe he'll get a prize! What should I get him? Wait sorry cass. School starts in 10 minutes. I gotta go. Ok. Yeah, you could text me. Don't forget to tell your mom and dad I said hi. Ok bye Cass." "Honey, was that Cassandra?" Her mom asked. "Yeah.
