Morgynn's POV

We stared as Jessica pulled away in her car. OHMYGOD! She knew Maria! I knew it! But wait a second. Why is she waiting to tell us until AFTER we figure out who she is?! Why can't she tell us now?! I turn to Jack who is still in shock at what she said before leaving. I saw the new kids walking up to me.

The girl who Jessica talked to asked, "Ok. What tha hell was that all about? Who is she and how does she know Maria?!"

"To be honest," said Jaden, "I would like to ask you the same questions."

I saw Michael walk forward and sign. "This is Lily and her friends from Houston. They were also friends of Maria." He looked towards Lily. "Lily." He said emotionless.

"Michael." She replied the same way.

Michael looked over at me and said, "Now, how did you guys know her?"

I walked over to Jaden, Abby and Jack. "Me and Jaden knew her cause we were all best friend since birth. Crazy huh? Abigail is her little sister, by a few day. Different parents and actually, Maria's mom is the choir teacher and her stepdad Chad, the man who came in the class with that boy named Jordan, is Maria's stepdad. Jordan is her brother. And Jack, uh," I look to him, wondering how I should tell them.

Jack puts his hand on my shoulder. "I know her because we have also been best friends in elementary. We were neighbors until I moved away after the fourth grade. And I haven't seen her since." I could see the sadness in his eyes. Apparently, everyone else saw it as well, cause Michael shot him a glare and said, "What?"

We all saw as Jack started to blush. Even I didn't know what was going on. I looked to him with my eyebrow up and said, "What's going on Jacky? Your not usually this nervous."

"Um," He turned even more red in his face, and that was hilarious since he was really white. In fact, he might be the only person I know who is whiter than Maria was, and that's scary cause she was the palest chick anyone has ever met. "I, uh, kinda.." he mumbled the next part.

"Huh?"

"I liked her, ok?!" He went and sat down by the tree that Jessica sat up against and leaned his head back. He had a thing for her? Wow. I can't believe he liked her. And I also can't believe that he didn't tell any of us.

I walked over to him and crouched down beside him. "Why didn't you tell us?"

He looked at me and I saw the sadness in his eyes. "What's the point in telling you guys if I knew that I would never get the chance to ever tell HER?" He put his knee up to his face, put his arm it, and put his head on his arm. I could see his eyes starting to water a little and my phone started to vibrate. They all, including Jack, looked to me as I answered the replied.

"Hello?"

"Morgynn?"

"Um, who is this?"

"Jessica."

"Jesse? How did you get my number?"

"Jaden gave it to me, including Jack's, Abby's, and his. Listen: can you guys come over to Dairy Queen with me? I'm going to explain a few thing for tomorrow's 'identity game'."

"Ok. Jack came come too, right? He has a couple of question to do with your game."

"Ok! Be here by 4:30. See yah!" I put my phone in back in my pocket.

I turned to the gym there who were looking at me, curious. "Jessica wants me, Abigail, Jaden, and Jack to meet her at Dairy Queen to discuses tomorrow. We'll meet up with the rest of you tomorrow in the choir room. Later."

I waved as the other three and I headed from our cars.
