Chapter 14

Maria POV:

I was in my old school back in Houston. I my cousin, Jason, had his guitar and smiled at me. "You'll be great." I smiled and thanked him.

"And now, what you've all been waiting for: Maria and Jason!"

The crowed roared as we stepped into their sight. I smiled as I scanned the crowed of our auditorium. There were a bunch of people here. My eyes finally stopped when I reached one person: Severen.. I can't believe he came. After I had asked-no, begged- my dad and stepmom to let my mom and family come watch me sing, my best friends, Morgynn and Jaden, knows him and said that they would invite him. I was so happy and now I get to see my (guy) best friend one more time.

Oh yah, I almost forgot to say: The reason I was in the car crash in the first place was cause I was leaving. That was my last therapy session before I was to move to to Willis, Texas. We were heading back to my old place to gather the rest of my clothes and my baby. No, I didn't get pregnant, but my baby is my cat, Magic.

She is a tuxedo cat. I've had her since she was only a few day old. She was abandoned by her momma cat and her brother and sister cats.

As we stared at each other I noticed something that he was doing. He pointed to himself, he made a heart shape with his hands over his heart, and then.. Pointed to me?! 'I love you' I almost started to tear up with joy. And sadness. We can't be together. I was moving while he went back to who-knows-where. I smiled and made signs that meant 'we'll talk later.' His face went from overjoyed to confused and nervous. I don't blame him.

I walked over to my place next to my cousin and we started:

Me: Take time to realize that your warmth is crashing down on in. Take time to realize that I am on your side. Don't I, didn't I tell you? But I can't spell it out for you.

Both: you know it's never gonna be that simple

Me: though I can't spell it out for you.

Both: if you just realized what I just realized, then we'd be perfect for each other and we'll never find another. Just realized what I just realized, we'd never have to wonder if we missed out on each other now.

Me: it's not the same if you don't feel it too. If you meet me halfway, it would be the same for you.

The crowed roared as we finished our piece. I had my eyes closed cause if I didn't, I would have been looking at Severen the whole song. I did sing it for him though, but he didn't need to know that now.

As everyone started to leave, I run over to him and give him the biggest, wettest( cause of tears) and happiness hug I have given him since he left four and a half years ago. He looked so different than the last time I saw him. He pulled away and grabbed my face gently. "Your so beautiful." He was about to lean in when he.. Disappeared?! I looked all over for him, my mom, brother, anyone. But I was alone. I turned around once more to see my uncle with a knife and belt.

"Your gonna pay for what you caused!"

"What did I do?!" I had tears in my eyes all of a sudden.

He pointed at me with the knife and said, "You made Ally unable to bear kids! Now I'll never be a father!" I woke up right as he stabbed my heart with the knife.

I opened my eyes to see Daniel and Severen, eyes-widen. I look at them like they were crazy. David smiled like a crazed maniac while Severen stayed the same, while pointing at me, shaking. "You-" Severen started, "you talked!" Now my eyes widened and I began to hold my throat. I did?! I looked to Daniel and signed, "What did I say?!"

"You don't want to know!"

The next thing I knew Severen was rushing out the door. Oh god, did I say something to embarrass him?!

Severen POV:

I ran all the way back to my house. When I open my door, I see that my mom and siblings had just gotten home too cause I saw my sister rush off towards her room upstairs. She always runs to her room so she can change into her comfortable clothes after school, church, or anywhere where she has to dress up. I ran up to my room and quickly texted everyone to come over.

As I waited for them to show up, I look out my window and began to think this out. Did she really just say that?! I can't believe this! How did she know?! I heard a knock on my door. I went to answer it, seeing that it was the gang. I, literally, pull them in and I start passing all over the floor.

"Dude," said Justin, "what's going on?"

I turned to him and I knew I had a nervous look in my eyes cause he shut his mouth.

"I think I know Jessica's identity."

The others' eyes widened. "No way!" Kim said. "Who is she? Is she someone we know?"

I nod. Everyone starts to smile. "You guys remember the day that Maria died, right? Like, what happened at her school that night before the crash?"

"Yah," Dayln said, "I think we were informed that there was a concert and she sang at the end. Then right after she left. So?"

"Do you remember the last words I told you I told her?"

Yah, why?" A very curious Lily asked.

"I heard Jessica speak for the very first time today at church. And guess what she said?" When everyone ether shrugged or shook their head, I said, "She said: 'You're so beautiful.'" I said the last part with wide open eyes. Everyone jumped up for where they were sat and started screaming!

After everyone had calmed down, Lily said, "So, Jessica is really.."

Lol. Cliff Hanger!! I hate reading and then go into one but  ow I know why they do it: it's fun 😂

Anyways, Did Maria friends really figure out who she is?

Is she gonna start talking again?

What is she gonna do about the same auditions since she's gonna have to sing?
