Jackson's POV:

As we pulled into the parking lot of Dairy Queen, we saw that Jesse's car was already here. When we walked inside, we looked around to try and find her. When I looked towards the counter, I gasped. "Oh my god.."

The others looked at me like I was crazy. "What Jacky?"

"You see that girl with the purple hair and green eyes?"

Abigail hit me. "Dude! You just confessed to us that you like Maria and now your staring at other girls?!"

"No! I'm saying that looks a hell lot like Jesse."

They look to where I am pointing an saw a girl with a full head of purple hair and saw her skating around delivering food to tables. When she saw us, she smiled, headed back over to the counter, and disappeared into a room.  When she came back out, her hair was completely black again and she walked over towards us.

"Hey guys! You made it."

I was so confused. "Um, why did you change your hair and eye contacts?"

"Cause these guys know me by a different name. At school, I'm Jessica. Here I'm Violet. At my church, I'm Mimi, and at home, well, you need to figure that out in the game." I saw her smirking as she went to sit down at a booth. When we joined her, she wrote, "Listen guys. I really wish I could just tell you who I am but I'm being for- I mean, uh, promised not to. I was able to convince that person to let me hold a game for you guys to figure out who I am. I am allowed to give very small hints of who I am and how I know you guys. But I'm not aloud to let it be obvious so make sure you pay attention."

I asked, "So we just call you Jesse right? How will we know if we got it right and your not just playing with us after we get it right?"

Jesse smirked. "Because anytime something surprising happens, you'll know. Besides, why would I lie? Like I said: I want you to find out."

"She makes a good point." Abby whispered in my ear.

"Yeah yeah."

"Ok," Abigail said aloud, "what do we need to know, you know, as your hint or whatever?"

"Ok so the first hint is that I use to live in Houston, Texas as well. And yes I did know Maria. Me and her were actually pretty close. Then when the accident happened, I didn't know what to do. I swear I feel like I was the one who died in the accident."

I could tell she was really close to Maria and I started to have pity on her.

"Ok. I'll give you all one more hint. I was there when the accident occurred. I swear it was the worst thing I have ever witnessed. I wanted to help somehow but I didn't know what to do. I felt hopeless."

I don't by this. "How do we know you are telling the truth? How do we know that you were really there?"

Jesse signed. "Do you remember the neck less that you gave to her that week she died? It had, We love you -your friends and family <3.  And from what I can tell, she was wearing it the day of the accident." I saw her put her hand in her pocket and grab something. When she pulled it out, she opened her palm and we gasped. It was the locket we had given her! I took it from and emotionless Jessica and I just stared at it.

"I'm on your side. I really want to help you but you need to figure out who I am for the puzzle to put itself together. Will you do it?"

All at once, the other three nodded and turned to me, with a pleaded look in their eyes. Damn it! They know that's my weakness! I hate it when someone is in pain or hurting and the plead look gives off just that. At least the way they do it. I groaned as I said, "Alright. We'll play your little game. But only on one condition: if we can't figure out who you are by the end of the year, as in the actual year, like, right before New Years, then you have to tell us who you really are. No exceptions. Deal?" I held my hand out for her to shake

She smiled as she took my hand as if to say, "Deal!"

Maria's POV

After we shook hands, we decide that if they were to figure out who I am, that they need to get to know me. After talking about where we all lived and what our favorite animal was (Abigail's is penguins, Morgynn's are dogs, Jaden's is horses, and Jack's is wolves, or most dogs [omg me too!]), we started talking about why we are in New York. Jaden was here for his rapping and drumming, Morgynn was here for her dance and guitar playing skills, Abigail was here for art and singing, and "Jackson" for his singing and modeling.

"What are you here for?"

"I'm here for my music and acting. I also decorate and design, but I chose the first two to focus mostly on. The others I can do in my free time."

Before he could ask about it, Jacks phone beeps and he pulls it out. Thank god. I don't want to have to explain why I want to sing but I don't talk. He reads, "'Hey guys. Don't forget to tell Jesse to come to our pool party tomorrow-Lily.' You up for it?"

"Yah, why not?"

Just then, I heard someone call for me. When I turned, I saw Daniel, a friend from my church. He's the only one who know my secret and that's because he walked in on my uncle kicking the living shit out of me. "Dannie!" I ran up and gave him a hug. After we released, I noticed that I was being stupid and I brought Daniel over to the others. "Guys, this is Daniel. He goes to my church. Dannie, this is," I started pointing at them one by one, "Jaden, Jackson, Abigail, and Morgynn. They're some friends from school."

"Really? I've never seen them before. My mom is the nurse at the school and my prodigy is in the same as Mimi's here." He gave me a squeeze. I look to see Jack's jaw tighten. Oh my goodness was he jealous?! Oh my god, this was going to be good.
