A/N: Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I was on vacation visiting Squidward. He was hard to find in the ocean, but I found him eventually. We had a marching band and Patrick used a jar of mayonnaise as a instrument. ^.^ (I have problems)
Rhy's POV
^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^
I rubbed the soft grey towel against my dripping hair. I looked up into the mirror and looked at the markings on my arm and back of my shoulder. I sighed as I remembered the day I was taken away from my parents. Tomorrow I am going to try to see my parents but I'm afraid of not finding them in the lonely cottage in the woods. I pull a black sweater over my bare chest and slipped into sweatpants. I walked out to my room and felt sleepiness take over me. I laid down but then heard my stomach growl. Right. Dinner. I sigh and heave myself out of the comfy bed and step into the hallway.
"Rhy, jeez you look tired." I hear Sanvi behind me.
"Yeah I am tired." I sigh.
She smiles weakly and she heads into the medical office. I keep walking until I get to the main room. I widen my eyes and look down. I was in my pajamas still. I sigh and shake my head. I see Poppy sitting with Nia and Lance and she has excitement glowing in her eyes. I smile to myself and I walk to the food supply.
"Rhy, never seen you in pajamas."
I look around and see my friend, Thomas. I nod and run my hand through my hair.
"Yeah I forgot to eat before bed."
He laughs, "Rhy? Forgetting? That's the first."
I crack a smile and I grab a plate of salad. I honestly was getting sick of only eating things found here. I sighed and walked over to my table with Thomas. He was already done eating but he sat with me to keep me company.
"So, did you get your preparations done, Thomas?" I ask through a stuffed mouth.
"Almost. Just need to get two more walls secured."
I remember how upset he was when I told him to secure the fort walls. I nodded and stuffed more salad in my mouth. I almost gagged from all the green plants with no dressing or anything. I hurried and ate the salad and I went back to my room. I sat down at the desk and opened the computer.
"Human foods." I search on the web.
Right...
"Good foods"
I scroll through the many pictures of mouthwatering foods. I stop at one that had red fruits and a cream on top of a piece of cake. I quickly close the computer and went over to my bed. Rhy, you don't get interested in human things. Remember. I remind myself as I get into bed. I close my eyelids and I let myself think for a while.
"What if I don"t want to go with him?!" Small me whines.
"Too bad son. Toughen up." My father's voice was cold.
My mother glared at him and she walked up to me and wrapped her arms around me.
"Don't listen to your father. He wants you to be brave. He just doesn't know how to say it right." She growled under her breath.
"But I don't want to have to boss everyone around..." I sniff.
I heard my father scoff and I looked up at him. He was shaking his head as he looked around. I glared at him when he didn't notice. I hated leaving my family and being so busy my whole life, but I wanted to prove my father I was brave.
