I whacked my head against the wall trying to shake up some ideas of something to do. I got an idea and went to my closet. I pulled out a light grey dress. It's better than wearing the same thing all the time. I reassured myself as I looked at the strange dress. I then ran from my room to Rhy's room. I knocked on the door and heard him sigh.
"Come in. But make it quick." He said tiredly
I burst through his door and looked around the room I have never seen yet. I heard him clear his throat and I looked at him.
"Oh sorry! Hey Rhy, can we, you know.... um go to the human world?" I asked and rubbed my arm.
He laughed as if it was a joke. "Yes... but we aren't going to."
"Please Rhy! It could be good!
"And how is that?"
"Because we can have some fun! You and me. You know, to bond and get to know each other better."
He raised an eyebrow at my idea. He finally sighed and rubbed his temples.
"I guess... I need to relieve some stress anyways." I squealed in delight and jumped up and down.
I saw him roll his eyes at me and I stopped and rushed over to him.
"I still have some money. Want to go to an amusement park?"
"A what?"
I sighed, "A place where you have fun by riding fast and scary rides! Duh!"
He nodded and walked to his closet. I followed him and looked at all his clothes. Everything was black.
"Sheesh we should drop by the mall as well. No offence, but do you have anything more.... fitting? These are terrible for an amusement park." I pressed.
He shook his head and I sighed. Why would Mr.Serious have anything fun? I asked myself.
"Look, I'm sorry if I'm not good enough for this 'amusement park' stuff, but I like my clothes." He scoffed.
I shrugged and dragged him from the room. Sanvi gasped as I ran past with Rhy right behind me. We ran through the halls and out into the forest. Rhy then took me to the portal into the human world and he stopped.
"Listen, if you see anyone you know, don't let them see you. They can't know you're wandering the streets. Okay? Or we won't go." I nodded quickly and Rhy nodded back.
He pressed his marked hand onto the stone on the portal gate and his marking and the rock glowed slightly blue. I watched in envy at how much power he holds. This is something small that he can do. I wonder what else he is capable of? I wanted to ask him, but felt afraid of him getting upset.
We stepped through and I squinted my eyes from the brightness of the sunlight. I heard him growl from the light behind me. I turned and smiled at him.
"Thank you, Rhy. This means a lot to me that you will come with me." He ran his hand through his hair and shrugged.
"It's only fair. I kinda did steal away your family and life."
"No need to be sorry. I wouldn't be able to meet you, Sanvi, Nia, Lance, or Dakota! Now cmon, let's go have fun!"
I grabbed his wrists and we ran through the trees. We ran until we found a city and then we walked around for a while. Rhy was nervous to be around humans but after walking around a few blocks, he was a little better. We walked into a store and I bought a floral dress and a pair of lacy flats. Rhy came out of the changing room in a pair of shorts and a polo shirt.
