{Two Month's Later}
I placed the last item in my bag that I was takeing. I ran my hand's over my face and took a deep breath. I had finally decided that it was time to put this, well what exactally to call it, plan? Into action. I knew now that I was not going insane but that Bryce had been following me and showing up everywhere I went. Bryce had even gone so far as leaveing a couple of notes on my vehcile or Zack's truck. Whichever I was driveing that day, they were non-threatening notes and basically saying that we needed to talk.
No one beside's Brian knew that I had been seeing Bryce. Not even Papa Gates knew. I felt bad for lieing to Zack, because it was the same thing I had left him for a couple of month's ago. Now I was the one doing the lieing. I knew this needed to be done now. I looked over at Zack's side of the bed and slowly walked over and sat on the edge of the bed.
I picked up the picture frame that was sitting on his night stand. It was a frame that held three pictures. The first picture was of us when we were scarwny fourteen year old's. The second one was four year's later at our wedding. The third one was from a couple of year's ago and had to be my favorite. It was of Zack, Brian, Matt, Jimmy and I, we looked so happy and carefree. I sighed and set the picture back down.
Getting up I took one last look around and than grabbed my bag. I walked downstair's and into the kitchen. I grabbed a piece of paper and pen.
»My dearest Zack:
By the time you get this note I will be long gone. Please do not come looking for me. I'm so sorry if I leave you with a broken heart. That was not my intention's. I'm leaveing to keep you and the rest of the family safe. I couldn't do it face to face because than you would convince me to stay. I love you Zack with all my heart!!!
Love from: Emma«
I wiped away the stray tear's comeing down. I set the pen down on the table by the note. I went to walk to the garage I heard a whimper behind me. I turned and looked around. I relaxed when I saw the little fur ball.
"Awwwww come here icky" I called crouching down.
Icky came over to me and sat down. I rubbed icky's head.
"I'm going to miss you Ick" I whispered.
Icky looked up at me with wide eye and their little tail hitting against the floor. Maybe Zack wouldn't mind if I took Icky with me. He hasn't really had time for the dog's anyway and Icky would keep me company. I picked up Icky and stood up. I could just stop and get some food in Big Bear for Icky.
I walked out into the garage after setting the house alarm. I got into my vehcile and opened the garage door. Starting my vehcile I backed out of the garage. Once out I pushed the garage opener button on my visor and watched as the garage shut. I continued to back out of the driveway. At the bottom of the driveway I looked to see if there was any oncomeing traffic. Once again standing there not that from me was Bryce, he gave me a little wave. I shook my head and took off.

I was signing along to the cd I had put in. It was my favorite because Zack had made it for me. It was a mixture of our favorite song's from our favorite band avenged sevenfold. I was singing to one of my favorite song's "Little Piece of Heaven". I had been driving for a couple of hour's and was enjoying the scenery. Since it was fall the tree's looked beautiful with there golden leaves, that shimered in the light.
I drove into the little town in Big Bear and decided to stop at the little mom and pop shop. I would need to get some grocery's before heading up to the cabin. If I didn't do it now than I would have to do it later. And I didn't feel like going out later. Plus the store would be closed by than. I looked at the clock and saw that it was a quarter to five and the store closed at five-thirty.
I pulled up in front of the shop and parked. I sighed and pulled out my phone, I didn't have any missed call's. So I knew Zack didn't know I was gone yet. I looked over at Icky, who was passed out in the seat. I got out and locked the door's. I walked into the small store. I saw one of the owner's of the store standing back behind the only check out.
She was a sweet older woman in her early sixty's, her gray hair was pulled up into a bun. She looked up from what she was doing and I could see the shock in face when she saw me. She knew we only made it up to the cabin twice a year. And that was usually at christmas time and durning the summer.
"Mrs. Baker how nice to see you. How are you dear?" the older woman asked me.
"Hello Mrs. Everson, I'm doing fine. How are you?" I asked, smileing at her.
"I'm fine dear" Mrs. Everson replied
After conversating for a few minutes. I grabbed a cart and walked around the store grabbing the stuff I needed. After getting everything I needed I walked back up to the register. Mrs. Everson smiled and started ringing me up.
"Mr. Baker not with you dear?" Mrs. Everson asked.
"Ummmm no he's not. I'm here all by my lonesome" I replied.
"Oh. Is he joining you later?" Mrs. Everson asked.
