Chapter 17

A/N: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I'm sucky at updateing. I thought with my kid's being in school that I would be better at updateing. But have found that we are going to alot of appointments. So that cuts into my updateing time.

Also I aplogize first if this chapter sucks. I found out some devestating news on Sunday. I am trying to come to terms with it. But I don't want to let my lovely reader's down either.

So here is the long awaited chapter or is it? o.O

I looked around the table after Johnny had uncerimoniously plopped me down in the chair. Jimmy was handing out beer's again and than sat down. I looked at my boy's. My boy's being Zack and Brian the two most important men in my life. The two who had been through half of my life with me. The two who had been there through thick and thin. I mean yes Jimmy and Matt had been there too, and in recent year's Johnny. But Brian and Zack were the main ones.

I looked over at Brian across the table and noticed that he had a swollen lip and a gash across his nose. Zack had got in few good punches. Brian was holding an ice bag to his lip and glareing over at Zack.

Zack was sitting on my left side and stareing down at the table. From the side profile I could already tell he had a swollen and split lip, would atleast have one black eye, and a bloody nose. Zack turned his head and looked at me pleading with me, with his green eyes. It reminded me of a time so long ago.

{Flashback Ten Year's Ago}

I stood up from my desk in my room, stretching my aching muscles. After sitting in that chair for a few hour's solid doing my studies. I was being home schooled by Suzy. The teaseing and taunting and even the threats by the students at the school hadn't stopped. Even Brian and his friend's, who had stood up for me a few times, couldn't get them to stop.

I stepped out of my room and headed down the hall. I was determined to get a drink and something to eat. As I was headed past Brian's room I could hear yelling comeing from in there. Just than the door open and out stepped one of Brian's friend's. Of course him not paying attention he closed the door and turned and slammed right into me.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't see you there" he said, wrapping an arm around my waist to keep me from falling.

"Its ok" I whispered

I was honestly shy around most of Brian's friend's except for Jimmy. I looked up at his friend who was still holding me and took in his features. His hair was a dark brown that almost looked black, hee had flawless skin, nice full red lips, perfectly straight white teeth, and the most amazeing emerald green eyes. I could tell he was a popular just by looking at him, he had to be if he hung out with Brian.

This was the first time I had seen him around the Haner's house. I had noticed him around the school.

"Ummmm, you can let go now" I said quietly.

"Zack, my names Zack" Zack said, stareing into my eyes.

"Ok well can you let go now Zack?" I asked, starting to get uncomfortable with him stareing.

"What if I don't want to let go Emma?" Zack asked.

I gasped at him knowing my name, of course he knows your name stupid. I hadn't noticed that his face was getting closer to mine.

"Ummmm" I replied

"Emma would you go out with me?" Zack asked suddenly.

"W-what?" I asked confused, drawing my eyebrow's together.

"Go. Out. With. Me?" Zack said slowly, pleading with his eyes.

"Ummmm" I replied.

'God Emma whats wrong with you? Pull yourself together' I thought. We kept stareing at eachother. Just than Brian's bedroom door opened.

"OH MY GOD!!!! ARE YOU GOING TO KISS NOW?" Jimmy sheriked, than slammed the door.

{End of Flashback}

{Back to Present Day}

I felt my cheek's slightly heat up from the memory and saw Zack try to smile. Although he slightly winced from his lip. It was almost knew what I was thinking about. Just than Papa Gates cleared his throat and everybody turned their attention to him.

"Ok I guess we should start than" Papa Gates said.
