Louis called out once again, Borys, Peter and Olivia going into the main room and all standing around Louis. Peter was holding a white cloth up to his nose and Olivia was constantly glancing at him. Borys was fiddling with his fingers, and then Ziggy and Aiden jogged back into the room. Everyone stood around Louis and waited for him to do anything. He raised the papers up and showed it to everyone.
"Yes, and?" Borys asked and leaned on the desk next to him.
"These papers. Alex and I went through them. We left them on the desk, exactly here. Alex disappeared, I went back here, the papers weren't there. I searched, and they were exactly where we originally found them."
"What does this have to do with anything-"
"Alex may be in the place we originally found him in." Louis rudely cut Peter off. They all looked at each other, like this theory made so much sense, like their minds were just blown.
"But that's retarded." Borys commented, sitting down on the nearby chair and spinning himself around. Louis gave him a death glare, squinting his eyes at him with anger, then looking back to the rest.
"What if you're the master?" Ziggy asked and stepped towards Louis. Olivia had a suspicious feeling about both Borys and Louis. Borys was the only person with Alex in the room down the corridor. He must have done something to Alex, because if it wasn't him, it was the master. Olivia wasn't sure where the master was, but up until now she thought the Master was with the seven. Now all her thoughts and assumptions were wrong, but she could never be sure. After all, none of them knew who the Master was.
"Or maybe it was you," Olivia turned and pointed to Borys. "Maybe it was you who tried to kill Jan. Maybe it was you who did something to Alex. It all adds up!"
"Why would I want to kill Jan-"
"You're the only one that's such a good friend with Jan, aren't you? You would have gotten jealous wouldn't you? You're probably going to target Peter next." Olivia cut him off. She was now so close to bursting out and slapping Borys, but luckily Peter noticed and held her back.
"Let's not make any assumptions, please." Peter declared, raising a hand up into the air. Sophie groaned in the background and made an airplane noise. She flung an object up and caught it, making Olivia sprint out of Peter's arms and up to her, screaming 'No don't play with your hand again!'.
"We've got to work against the Master, not against each other." Aiden commented and received a nod of approval from Peter.
"I'm best friends with Alex. I've known him for years. Why would I want to hurt him?" Louis asked in an outraged tone, and a silent agreement passed around that Louis wouldn't even have any reason to hurt or do anything to Alex whatsoever.
"I'm best friends with Jan!" Borys stood up and walked into the middle of the conversation.
"Why would I want to hurt him?"
Peter looked down, leaving Aiden to say anything in their defense. They just stood there awkwardly in silence, the sound of Sophie and Olivia in the background. Nobody in the circle dared to say anything, but the silence was soon broken by Borys.
"Exactly," He said and started to walk away. "Now if you don't mind, I'm going to go and discover everyone's rooms. Bye."
With that comment, Borys sped away into the room corridor. He left everyone behind and unofficially closed the whole discussion. Peter was still covering his nose with the white, now half red, cloth and was giving Louis little death glares. Aiden went back to the room that Alex was last seen in. He decided that more they looked, the more they could actually know. The more clues they found, the easier it would be to find Alex.
"Declare him dead!" Peter shouted, catching everyone's attention. Aiden was still looking, not letting Peter's comment distract him. He was carefully looking at the floor, where Borys pointed out that Alex was last laying. He looked closer at the floor, focusing on the smallest of details. A line of dust, which seemed to be perfectly like the outline of somebody's arm, caught his attention. Aiden suddenly stood up, backing up to see the full dust image. It was the perfectly accurate outline of Alex. When he finally looked closer, finding the place of Alex's cut off arm, he found that the dust in that place was blurry.
"You've missed a spot! Come look at this!" Aiden slowly walked out the room to call the others, trying his best to not take hard or heavy steps to disturb the dust. Peter, Ziggy and Louis walked over to the room, and all looked at him.
"The Master forgot to hire some cleaners." Aiden quickly pointed into the room, earning a snort from Louis.
"There's a dust outline of Alex," He explained, walking into the room and pointing to the blurry part. "And it gets all disturbed where his bad arm was."
Silence fell in the room. Peter started kicking the door frame, Louis returned into the main room and nobody tried to stop him, Ziggy was doing his best at holding back a rant. His head was buzzing with theories and ideas as to what could have potentially happened to Alex.
"What are we going to tell the seven?" Ziggy asked and looked at Peter for some kind of answer.
"As I said before, declare him dead for now." Peter told him, looking out for Louis and if he heard him saying this. Of course Louis must have heard Peter shout about declaring Alex dead, but he didn't mention anything to Peter that time. He couldn't risk getting punched in the nose again.
"Go call the seven, away from Louis. I'll get somebody to distract him away." Peter told Aiden and walked away, meeting a very confused Olivia at the end of the corridor. He explained everything to her, and asked her to distract Louis. She agreed and walked over to the medical corridor, calling Louis to go along with her. They both disappeared into one room, and none of them were heard from for the next ten minutes, which was just enough to connect and make a call.
However, Aiden got a big surprise when he couldn't connect at all. He wasn't receiving any type of signal, which they did receive before, even when the seven didn't pick up. He decided to go and investigate the problem. His weapon was laying right next to the entrance to the weaponry corridor, which he would have to go through to get to the control room. Aiden decided it would be best to go with a weapon if he was going alone. He made his journey quite quick, minding all the weapon crates and mysterious boxes along the corridor. The boy finally reached the end of the corridor, where the control room was located. The door was made of shining metal, and a number pad was hung on the wall right next to it. He tried to push the handle down and walk in, but it was to no use. The door was closed and Aiden alone would never be able to open it. He took a quick glance around, checking if anybody was watching or if they would hear what he did next.
Aiden took one big swing and whacked the door near the lock. Something clicked inside and when he tried to turn the handle down, it worked. The door slowly crept open, revealing the inside of the room. It was pitch black, and Aiden decided that it would be best to have some sort of light. He patted the wall beside him in search of a light switch. Luckily, his hand wandered far enough to reach one, and he skilfully flicked the switch. The room lit up and Aiden took a step further inside, but when he finally looked up into the ceiling, he let out a high pitch scream and regretted going inside...
