"Someone help him, Jesus Christ." Nat exclaimed, running off the stage and past the others, who were still standing frozen in shock. Suzzette was the only one that came forward, with her medical box already in hand and ready.
"Oh God, Borys," Suzzette began, kneeling next to the boy. "Are you okay?"
He had wounds all over his body, all bleeding and looking very serious. There was a stream of blood spilling out of the corner of his mouth, dripping down his neck and onto his torn clothes. Borys could barely hold his eyes up, because he felt so weak. It was a struggle to breathe.
"I'm fine." He replied, but his voice was very weak. With the help of Nat and Suzzette, he managed to sit up on the chair behind him.
"Guys, you've got to leave me here." Borys coughed, blood drops flying out of his mouth.
"We can't." Suzzette shook her head, pulling out some disinfectant and bandages from her medical box.
"You're in a terrible state, what happened to you?" Nat asked, looking at the boy in worry.
"He did it. He beat me up, I didn't have a chance. I think he's immortal, he told me only one person is able to kill him." Borys answered, but it still didn't clear up most of the situation.
"Why are you here?" Nat asked.
"The Master, he did it. I didn't see his face, I'm so sorry." Borys sighed, dropping his head down in shame. He hissed when Suzzette pressed a disinfectant soaked gauze against a wound on his cheek.
"Don't be sorry," Nat said very sternly, standing back up. "Do you know where he is?"
"He disappeared." Borys mumbled, but then everything changed.
There was a sudden roar out of nowhere, which sounded like wild lions. Out of the corners of the room shot a wave of darkness, claiming everything in sight. The black colour spread along everything, excluding the Seven and Borys. They were the only things made of colour in the room, with even the dust on the unused seats covered black.
"What's happening?" Holly asked, raising her weapon. It was absolutely pitch black, and nobody could see anything. They couldn't move in the darkness, due to the many chairs stood around them.
Suddenly, another roar came, but this time it was fire. A high wall of roaring fire sprung to life around the Seven and Borys, stopping them from going anywhere. The fire didn't seem to be burning any of the objects which touched it (apart from the Seven and Borys), which meant that they didn't have to also worry about their town hall burning down.
"Borys," Nicole said, now stepping away from the crowd and kneeling beside him. They could see again, with the fire providing light for them. "I honestly thought you were the Master."
"It's okay, you know." Borys smiled up at her. She smiled back and then turned to face the stage again.
There stood a figure, in dark robes. He wasn't there when she looked before, but now he had appeared out of nowhere. The robes spilled on the floor, trailing at least a meter behind the figure. Spotlights out of nowhere shone down on the figure, revealing that the robe was actually dark green. The robe also included a hood, which dropped over the person's face.
"Who are you?" Nicole asked, stepping forward. The fire roared in front of her, but just so calmed down so all of them could see the stage.
"I am the Master." replied the figure, in his true voice.
"You are male." Nicole confirmed, her heart racing faster with every second that rolled on. Everyone was trying to figure out who the voice belonged to, because it was very familiar to them.
They could not believe that they were standing there, in front of the Master, about to decide on what their fate was. Maybe they haven't found the cure, but at least now they would be able to know who the Master is, if he revealed himself to them. Sooner or later, they'd figure out by the voice.
"You thought," The figure began, moving his arm up. "That Borys was the Master."
"You were wrong." The Master concluded.
"Now, I will rise to power," He began speaking again. "I will make my visions come true, I will spring to a new immortal and even stronger life, and I will take over the world. Would you like to make the decision of choosing my side?"
"No," Holly harshly replied. "Where is the cure?"
"There." The Master pointed in front of her.
On the floor, there lay a small flask of a green liquid, with a note attached. She quickly picked it up, reading the note. It turned out to be the recipe, so they could make more and not only have one flask with a few drops to share among the whole world, or what was left of it.
"The deal is still on, Holly." The Master said, a little smirk showing from under the hood. Nicole knelt down to see the face, but the shadow still remained there and covered it.
"I'm not giving you the cure, never." Holly growled at him, receiving a laugh. The Master's voice rang around, echoing off the walls. The fire roared higher, almost reaching the ceiling by now.
"Your friends are going to have to pay." The Master chuckled. The fire expanded, rolling into a straight wall. It blocked the exit, but now let the Seven see the whole stage. Two curtains dropped, the spotlight fixing on them.
There, in the spotlight, were two people sat on chairs. Their hands were tied around the back, and their heads dropped down, clearly signalling that the two people were unconscious, but everyone could still figure out who they were. Maya nearly screamed, a tear automatically rolled down Holly's cheek.
Alex and Seweryn were the two people sitting in the chairs. Everyone wanted to jump on stage to help them out, but then a small fire wall appeared just before the stage, also blocking the stage entrance.
"One's for my purposes, one's for his." The Master said and stepped aside, revealing another figure from behind him. The figure was much taller, and had broader shoulders.
"You're now going to die, if you don't mind, but first-" The Master said, turning around so his back was turned to the Seven. The other figure did the same, and the robes dropped. Gasps were the only things heard in the room, apart from the roar of the fire. They could not believe this was true...
