Sage's garden

Scene 1
It shows Sage, sitting
By Safflower's grave
which is right next to
Caraway's grave.
Behind him is small garden.
Carob and Nutmeg walk up
Behind him.

Carob: Hey Sage, what's this little place?

Sage: Hey Carob. Hey Nutmeg. This is my garden.

Nutmeg: A garden? I didn't know you were into gardening.

Sage: (Stands up, holding Safflower's flower) I'm not, but I wanted there to be a place for Caraway and Safflower to rest. (Puts Safflower's Flower on her grave) They deserve it.

Carob: (Nods towards the plants) Then all them plants here are safflowers and caraways?

Sage: Yep.

Nutmeg:....are you afraid you'll forget one of them?

Sage: (Shakes his head) I'll never...forgot them...(Pats Caraway's grave) They is no way I'll ever forget them.

(Flashes back to when Sage first talks to Caraway)

Sage: H-Hey.

Caraway: Hello.

Sage: Um...can I just tell you...being with you...lifts my cares away...

Caraway: Why? Because my name is Caraway?

Sage: (Shakes his head) No...because...when I'm with you...I can care less about my problems.

(Flashes to when he first talked to Safflower)

Sage: My name is Sage, what's yours?

Safflower: (Nods) Safflower.

Sage: (Sighs) I'm sorry...I'm still not over Caraway, so I can't love you like I loved her-

Safflower: (Smiles) That's alright. I'll wait. We'll be together for now on, so let's do our best. (Hands Sage her flower)

Sage: (Smiles and blushes as he hold it) Un...

(Goes back to Carob, Nutmeg, and Sage)

Sage: I can never forget the kindness they have shown to me. Now...I just have to make sure...I never have to grow any thistles.

Carob: Sage...

Nutmeg: (Hugs Carob) Why can't you be that romantic?

Carob: Because...I'm busy trying to protect you...

Nutmeg: Oh Carob...

Tarragon: (Sitting by a tree listening) Everything is as it should be...but what about me...(Sighs)
