Is practicing his attacks
On the tree. Sage comes up
Behind him.
Sage: (Worried) You still up Tarragon?
Tarragon: (Turns around, wiping the sweat off his brow) Sage...what are you doing this late?
Sage: I could ask you the same thing. What's up?
Tarragon:...Cocoa...she's reckless and a little rash...I know for a fact that tomorrow during the gym...if I don't protect her...she'll definitely (He punches the tree to clear his head) Anyway, I'm training. I won't lose another partner. (Smiles) Don't tell the girls...okay? I don't want Cocoa to worry.
Sage: (Nods) No problem. I've always got your back if you need me...(Gives a thumbs up) We're the last survivors of our original team, so we've gotta show it our best, okay?
Tarragon: (Laughs) Yeah...Night Sage.
Sage: (Runs back to the others) Night Tarragon.
Scene 2
Tarragon is fighting
Emolga, losing quite
A bit, but isn't letting
It show.
Tarragon: (Slides back from Ariel Ace) Huff...huff...
Cocoa: (Worried) Tarragon! Switch to me-
Tarragon: (Uses Rock Throw) I'M FINE!
Emolga: (Gets knocked out)....
Tarragon: (Stands up straight) I'm not going to just die on the first round...
(Heloisk comes out)
Heloisk: (Uses Quick Attack) !
Tarragon: (Uses Bulldoze) Take this!
Heloisk: (Uses Quick Attack again)...
Tarragon: Still up for more? Bring it on. (Uses Bulldoze, knocking heloisk out) How's that? (Thinks) Ugh...my hp is running low...I feel like I was hit by a truck...(Looks back at Cocoa then smiles) But...I'm going to protect her till the end...
(Magneton comes out)
Tarragon: (A tear rolls down his face) Hey...Cocoa...remember when you told me that you'll never leave me?
Cocoa: (Nods) Yeah...why? Tarragon?
Tarragon: (Not facing Cocoa, crying as he tries to laugh it off) I'm sorry...It looks like I'm leaving now...
Cocoa: Eh...(Starts to run into the battle field) TARRAGON! WAIT DON'T-
Sage: (Holds Cocoa back, while holding back tears of his own) I'm...Sorry...
Cocoa: (Struggling) Sage? W-What are you doing? Tarragon is going to...I NEED TO-
Sage: (Grips Cocoa tighter) I'm sorry...Tarragon and I are bros...I am going to respect his wishes till the end...
Cocoa: (Cries out) NOOO!!!!
Tarragon: (Uses Bulldoze) AHHHHHHHH!!!!
Magneton: (Uses Payback at a close range)...
Tarragon: (Knocked back, skids across the ground, doesn't get up)...Cocoa...
Cocoa: (Escapes Sage's grasps and runs up to Tarragon, crying) Tarragon...Tarragon...no...no no no no no...you can't...we just...no...
Tarragon: (Smiles, as he pats Cocoa on the head) It's alright...you're a strong girl...(Starts crying through his smile) I'm sure...you'll be able to smile again...
Cocoa: (Buries her face in his fur) Tarragon...
(Mandrake's ghost looks over Cocoa's shoulder, worried)
Tarragon: (Smiles, chuckles) It looks like...my time is up...
Cocoa: (Grabs Tarragon's fur) No! You can't just leave me-
Tarragon: I'm sorry Cocoa...I hope you can forgive my....selfish wish...(The light fades from his eyes)
Cocoa: (Cries out while holding Tarragon's hand) NOOOOOO!!!
Sage: (Frustrated, crying) Tarragon...no matter what...you're always my bro...
Jasmine: (Places a hand on Sage's shoulder)...
Sage: (Hugs Jasmine and cries into her chest)...
Cocoa: (Crying) Tarragon...there was so many *hic* recipes I wanted to...try with you...why? Why did it have to be you...
Tarragon: (As a ghost, pats Cocoa on the head) I'm glad...I was able to protect you...never forget that...I will always be protecting you till the end. Cheer up, tears never did look good on you.
Cocoa: (Crying, wipes away the tears) Un...thank you...Tarragon...
