Finished the battle
Against the Trainer
Of Death with the
Axew.
Carob: (Sighs)...
Sage: Good work out there Carob.
Carob: Oh, thanks Sage.
Nutmeg: Okay, that next guy is mine. Wish me luck.
Carob: Good luck.
Thistle: Do your best Nutmeg!
Sage: (To Carob) Speaking of which, why do you and Nutmeg always fight the Trainers of Death?
Carob: Well...think about it this way. Most of us aren't big on battlin'. Mandrake and Tarragon are still working on their teamwork, just startin' to work together. You and Thistle just can't bare to do too much damage to them. Nutmeg and I don't want to see anymore deaths around here.
Sage: Carob...
Carob: (Smiles) Still. That last battle was plenty tough. It's been awhile since a foe hadn't hit the dust after one attack.
Sage: (Reluctant) Aren't you worried...that eventually someone's going to defeat you.
Carob: (Nods) I'm terrified...to think someday Nutmeg and I might face someone we can't deal with...but...as long as I have something to fight for, I'm not going to go down without a fight.
Nutmeg: (Lands and hugs Carob) Hey Carob. I'm done now.
Carob: Really? Alright, let's go get somethin' to eat then. (They walk off)
Thistle: (Standing next to Sage) Those two have really good teamwork.
Sage: (Smiles sadly) Well...they have been together the longest...
Thistle: (Holds Sage's hand) I'm not going anywhere...okay?
Sage: (Nods solemnly) Un...
Side note, I like to think Carob's signature move is Return and instead of it growing with his happiness towards April, but instead, his love towards Nutmeg.
