☽ DOUBLE STANDARDS

i decided to do this rant because i was watching an old jenna marbles video (on the side) and i kep screaming 'hell yea' because she's absolutely fucking right.

i am 100% a feminist without a doubt. that means i want equal rights for both men and women. that means i think that they should have equal responsibilities.

and with those equal responsibilities, comes the crappy stuff too.

for example; if you're a feminist and you don't think girls should have to put their name in the draft at 18 just like guys do, well then too fucking bad honey 'cause you don't get to pick and choose what you want and what you don't.

also, if you don't want your boyfriend/girlfriend to hit you? then don't hit them. i don't care how much of an asshole they are being, keep your damn hands to yourself. we learned this in fucking preschool i mean come on.

there is no picking and choosing what you want and what you don't want when it comes to feminism. you're either in or out. don't start expecting things from guys, okay? don't expect them to hold the door open for you if you don't do it for them, don't expect them to buy you gifts just for the hell of it if you don't do it for them, and don't expect them to stay with you when all you do is ask them for shit.

it sounds like common sense to me but apparently it's not for some people.
