6- Movie Date

(SKIP CAR RIDE)

"I am so excited to see this" Arianna says excitedly jumping up and down a little bit while walking making both of my parents and me chuckle at her enthusiasm

"Hey calm down kid" I say resting my bicep on top of her head

"Stop, and I'm not a kid" she says pushing my arm off and crossing her arms rolling her eyes

"Well technically you are, seeing as how you are younger than me" I smirk at her making my parents laugh at us entering the theater with us following behind them. We all sit in the way back it goes my mom, momma, Arianna then me. The trailers start then all of a sudden a girl that looks about my age sits next to me and I look over and smile at her and she smiles back

"Hi, I'm Sydney" she waves at me

"Nice to meet you I'm Mercedes" I say waving back

"Cool can I have your number" she ask and I nod giving her my phone and she quickly types something in then hands me back the phone I look at it and she put it in as 'Sydney❤️' I smile and text her and her phone lights up and she types my name in as 'Mercedes❤️' we both put our phones away and she leans in and whispers something funny in my ear making me burst out laughing causing her to laugh too. This goes on back and forth for a good 45 minutes until I hear someone sniffle and I turn head and see Arianna wiping her face I quickly turn to her and I go to grab her hand but she quickly snatches it away then wipes her face again then crosses her arms. I look at her weirdly but she keeps staring at the screen while another tear rolls out of her eye I move my hand to go wipe it but she quickly does and the continues watching the movie without saying a word. Sydney and me don't really say anything else to each other. When the movie is over we all stand up and Sydney stands up and hugs me and I hug her back then she leaves and so does my parents and Arianna and I quickly jog to catch up with them and I rest my arm across Arianna's shoulders but she pushes it off

"Ok what the hell is your problem" I ask her getting a little irritated

"Figure it out" she says rolling her eyes and continues walking

"Are you fucking kidding me there could be a thousand fucking things wrong" I say throwing my hands up

"Mercedes watch your mouth" my mom says

"Ughh it's not my fault" I say groaning crossing my arms following them to the SUV and getting in the back with Arianna.

"Um hey Lauren or Camila do any of you have earbuds somewheres in this car?" Arianna ask them

"Yeah, here you go" my mom says reaching into her purse and pulling them out then tossing them back to Arianna

"Thank you" she says plugging them into her phone

"Your welcome sweetie" my moms says back as we pull out of the parking lot and start making our way back home. Before Arianna can put in her earbuds I grab them from her and she snaps her head towards me and glares

"What did I do" I ask again more calmly this time

"Give me the earbuds Mercedes" Arianna says holding her hand out rolling her eyes

"Not until you tell me" I say holding them back further and she reaches out to grab them so I pull them back more knowing she can't reach them
