*Gajeel's POV*

"Gajeel... You didn't.." She says quietly.
"You bet I did." I say slyly.

I let the Shrimp off my shoulders, and she slowly walks towards the massive treehouse in front of her. She looks back at me excitedly.
"C-can I go in?!" She asks.
"Why do you think it's here!?" I snap, grabbing her wrist and pulling her towards the base of the enormous tree.
"How are we supposed to get up there? Thats like one hundred feet! Two hundred! There's no latter, no stairs, no rope, nothing." She murmurs.
"Tch, that, Little Lady, is why we have magic." I smirk.
"I'll see you two up there...." Pantherlilly says before blasting up into the air.
"Showoff..." I mutter.

I let go of Levy's hand and take a few steps towards the trunk, eyeing the specially made hole in the porch of the treehouse. Then, I transform both my arms into Iron Dragon Swords, stab them into the bark, put my feet onto the trunk, and stark moving upwards.
"Hehe, how's that for magic?!" I yell at Levy, who's now a good twenty, thirty feet below me.
She looks up at me and I think she's smiling. She puts her hands up to her mouth and yells back,
"Honestly, I thought that was going to be more impressive!"
I stop and look over my shoulder, down at her.
"Pftt! More impressive?! Let's see you do better!" I snarl.
"No, it's okay! You're doing fine, just keep going. But aren't you getting a little tired?" She questions.
"Tired? Of course not! I could carry you on my back and it wouldn't change a thing!"
She puts her hands on her hips. And stands there all sassy looking.
"Speaking of which, how do you expect me to get up there?!" She hollers.

Shit! I'm such an idiot!

"Umm, oh! Hey uh Lilly?!" I shout upwards.
"No, no, no, no, no. I got this, you don't have to make Lilly carry me! And besides, I've always wanted to see if this would work."
I turn back again to look at her.
"See if what works-"

"Solid Script Magic!! Wings!!!"

The word materializes in large white wispy letters, splits in two, and attaches themselves to her back. And the next thing I knew, she was soaring up past me.
"You've got to be kidding me..." I mumble as she lands herself on the porch, calmly and smoothly.
I pull out my arm from the wood and stab it back in, hastily continuing my way up.
I finally heave myself onto the soft wood of the treehouse, and roll over onto my back, staggering in breath.
"Aww, look at you, is somebody a little tired after physically assaulting this poor tree?" My small blue-haired Shrimp asks, a fake look of sympathy on her face, and her word-wings still emanating from her back.
I catch my breath and roll onto my stomach and sit up on my elbows, grinning at her, and intensely staring.
Her adorable little face turns deep red because she knows I'm staring.
"W-what?" She blushes.
I sigh and shake my head.
"Dammit Shrimp, I knew you were an angel."
She crosses her arms and kinda laugh-sighs. Her wings ruffle before deteriorating into a glittery white.
She smiles and helps me up.
"If I'm an angel, then what does that make you?" She asks. I freeze and furrow my brow at the question.

Damn, what am I?
I haven't really though about that.
What does she think of me?
I know what I think of her, she means the world to me.
My god, was that the She-Devil in that tree over there?! No- it couldn't have been, how could she have found this place, it took me forever to- and Levy, oh shit thats right! I have to answer her... Hmmm...
Gehee..
I pull open the door into the treehouse and let Levy in first. I put my foot out in front of her and she stops to look up at me. I place my hand under her chin, and pull her face to face mine.
"Gajeel...?" She asks confused.
I lean down and place a soft kiss on her small lips.
She starts to lift up her arms but I pull back.
I grin and move to her ear and whisper.
"Think of us as Beauty and the Beast..."
