*Juvia's POV*
Branches and leaves crunch beneath my feet. My darling Gray accompanies me on our quest to find Lucy. I need to be focused and collected, but my frozen knight is so close to me I cannot handle it!! I can feel his cold magical power radiating off of him-oh if only he could feel the waves of my love!!!!
I am very upset that I haven't been able to recollect the events of the last few days, my beloved and I must have shared so many beautiful moments.
Other than this "fight" we seemed to have had. I don't want to remember that. From what Gray had said, it wasn't that bad, but I can't shake the feeling that it was worse that he made it seem.
But my darling wouldn't lie to me!
I have yet to fully apologize for any harm I may have inflicted upon him. But just being in his presence is so wonderful! My dear Gray, you fill my heart with such warmth!!!
"Uhh, Juvia? Are you alright?"
I snap out of my thoughts and look at Gray. His features must have been carved by the gods.
"Why, yes, I'm perfectly fine. I'm so very happy to be with you!"
His lips slightly turn upward, then he brakes eye contact and grimaces.
My arms instinctively try to reach for him, but I stop myself.
"Gray, dear, are you alright?" I ask softly.
He blinks a couple of times and shakes his head slightly, looking up.
"Yeah, I'm fine, let's go." He says, turning and walking away.He most certainly is not okay. I am absolutely positive of that. But what is bothering him? And why did he make such a confusing facial expression?!!
I puff my chest in determination and trot up to meet Gray's steps. We silently walk next to each other, scanning the forest for any sign of Lucy. It being as quiet as it is, we can almost clearly hear our other guild-mates yelling for her.
I can feel the nervousness creeping into my stomach, I hope she's okay, I know that I'm not always the nicest to her, that is, when I was under the impression that she was looking to steal my prince from me. But now that that's not the case, I worry about her. And she doesn't have Nastu with her. And that's even worse.
"Should we call for her? If she's around here, she should be able to hear us." I say, my hands starting to go cold from the ugly panicking feeling in my stomach. Gray continues walking, his hands in his pockets, and not a falter in his step.
"If we can hear them, she can hear them." He says coldly.
"Okay." I mutter, looking up at the sky, the blues and whites mix to make some pretty colors I should get on sweater or something. Speaking of clothes, my darling looks quite amazing today. He's got a sleek black t-shirt, black (beautifully skinny) jeans, and black laced boots. And my GOSH DOES HE LOOK GORGEOUS.
Well, as for me, I'm wearing high-waisted black jean, a light blue crop-top, and some of my favorite brown boots. They're really comfortable and durable. Oh! And my hair is also done too. I pulled back my bangs into a braid and have the rest of my hair down. I think I look pretty great today.
Wait.
IM SUPPOSED TO BE FOCUSING ON LUCY AGH.I shake my head and scan my eyes throughout the bushes and trees. I see a small flicker of light, like something reflecting the glare of the sun.
"Hey, over here!" I say, grabbing Gray's arm and pulling him with me.
"W-what? What's going on?" He says, irritation creeping into his voice, but I pay no mind.
I tug him along until we reach a small clearing, and there, lying in the grass is Lucy's celestial keys.
"Oh my gosh!" I let go of Gray's arm, and run over to pick up the key ring.
I turn my head and look at Gray, his expression matches mine.
We're scared.
"Luuuuuuucyyyyyy!!!!" I yell loudly.
"Lucy where are you!" Gray yells louder.
"Are all of the keys there?" He asks. I look through them, trying to remember all of the ones that she has.
"Yes, I believe so." I say finally.
"Here let me see them." He says, reaching out.
As I hand them to him, our hands touch. His are about as cold as mine.
"Gray.....?" I say quietly."
"Maybe if I find Loke's key, we can get him to show up, maybe he knows where Lucy is. Which one is it?!" He says, becoming flustered.
"Grayyy...." I say a little louder.
"Is it this one? No, that can't be it. Loke's is gold. Why am I such a dumbass!?"
"Gray!" I yell.
"What!" He yells back.
"Hey guys what's up?"
We're both startled at Loke's voice from behind us.
Gray whips around to face the celestial lion spirit.
"Loke, you gotta help us man, Lucy's gone missing. None of us can find her. Have you seen her at all?"
Loke's facial expression goes grim. He frantically looks around then shuts his eyes and tries to calm down.
"I recognize this place. Yeah, I was right here with Lucy, I can't remember what she was doing. But I definitely remember being right here in this spot."
He says.
"When exactly were you here?" I ask.
He puts his hand to his chin, thinking.
"I'd day yesterday, around four or five." He says.
I look at Gray.
"Happy came back to the camp at almost six, so Lucy would have had to have gone missing shortly after Loke saw her." I say.
"Yeah." He says, not looking me in the eye. He looks up at Loke.
"Get as many of the spirits as you can, help us find her." He says.
Loke nods his head.
"I will." He says. Then disappears into golden sparkles.
