Just A "Normal" Girl (Jace Norman Fanfic)

Chapter Seventeen

Lida's POV

"I have no clue what your talking about, I'm not Supergirl," I'm really confused, why would someone think I'm Supergirl, I am, but, nobody but Cooper and Jace know, "I know who you are, Lida Evans, I know everything about you, I know your Supergirl, so don't deny it!" Now she's yelling, I'm really scared, so I press a button on my watch so Cooper gets a text saying I need his help, I try to run, but she catches me when I get halfway down the path, I superspeed into my house and put on my Supergirl outfit, this just got personal.

Supergirl's POV

I run to the back of the house and then fly over it like I came out of the woods behind it, I see this masked woman and my friend, who doesn't actually have a cool superhero name, maybe Mr Indestructible, yeah, let's go with that, then I fly down and try to fight this masked person, but somehow, she is actually winning, then I realize why I'm not winning, I see a green kind of light come from the inside of one of the girls pockets, that's kryptonite, its my one weakness, I might not be from Krypton, but kryptonite still hurts me, after I see that, I fly off to the studios, I'm all beaten up, but it heals by the time I get there, then I change back into Lida Evans, then I realize something, Riele's nowhere to be found, that's weird, then I think, was Riele that masked woman, or girl, and how did she get kryptonite, and powers, and then I think, "Riele did this to me, and Cooper, she is going pay for what she did."

Lida's POV

I run up to Jace, with some news to tell him, "JACE! I figured out who gave me and Cooper powers," "who?" "Riele, she came to my doorstep this morning, in a mask, she said she knew who I was, said she knew everything, then I tried to fight her, then she had kryptonite, the one thing that hurts me, she did this to me and to Cooper, we have to do something before she hurts anyone else," I feel like that sentence went on forever, "wait, Riele did this, ate you sure?" "Yes, look, here she comes now, act like you don't know anything," "hey guys, what's up?" "Nothing!" We both say that at the same time and walk away, I turn around and her eyes turn a red kind of colour, the kind of colour they go before you use your best vision, I know she did this, she is going to pay big time, the next coffin, will be hers.

Riele's POV

I did give powers to Lida and Cooper, I thought Jace would have thought Lida is a freak and break up with her and get together with me, but that didn't work, then I gave myself powers, so I had a way to defeat Lida, she is now the most powerful person on the planet, but then there's me, I have the same powers, but I made sure that kryptonite didn't hurt me, that way I can defeat her. She will not win this war, I am going to end up with Jace, and with her 6ft under, nothing is going to stop me!

Jace's POV

Today is the first day of filming and Lida just came up to me with some big news, she figured out who gave her powers, apparently it was Riele, at first I thought it wasn't true, I just went along with it, but then I heard Riele and Lida talking in Lida's dressing room, "I heard a rumour that you are special, in a way," "I know you did this to me, I know you gave yourself powers as well," "yeah, I did, and my plan didn't work," "what was your plan exactly?" "To give you powers and make Jace think your a freak so he'll break up with you, that didn't work, so I gave myself powers, to try and destroy you, so you'll be dead, and I'll have Jace to myself!" I couldn't believe what I just heard, I have to find a way to keep Lida safe, then this one thought came to my mind... "I have a safe house set up somewhere around the world, no one knows where it is, not even my family, if I can get Lida to fly there and stay there for a wee while, I can figure out a way to get rid of Riele's powers, and Lida can come back, and we can live a happy life together." In my head this works, but I don't think it will, I decide to go through with it, I just have to get Lida to leave.

Will Jace be able to convince Lida to leave?
The extra line I had a couple of chapters back, is probably gonna be in the next chapter, I'm not so sure yet.
