Just A "Normal" Girl (Jace Norman Fanfic)

Chapter Seven

Lida's POV

Its been a few days since I auditioned and its really nerve racking, I just want to get the email, I have Jace and the rest of the Henry Danger cast sitting in the room with me. My phone buzzes and we all scream, I grab my phone, and I open up the email, I look at Jace with a straight face, "did you get it?" "Well, I'm sorry, but," "hey, its okay, maybe next time," "but, I'll be coming with you to be your new girlfriend on the show, I GOT THE PART!" We all jump up and down screaming, I can't believe it, I'm part of the Henry Danger cast, I'll be the best girlfriend Henry has ever had.

Jace's POV

Today is the first day Lida's coming onto set to start getting her character ready, the producers decided Lida's character was going to be a student from New Zealand coming to Swellview Junior High, since she said she can't really get her American accent to sound real, I was super stoked that my real girlfriend was going to play my fake girlfriend on television. We pulled up to set, "are you ready?" "As ready as I'll ever be, I'm really nervous," "you'll do great, trust me, and besides, your only coming to build your character and watch us so you know how things are done, you'll be fine." I think I gave her a good pep talk, I've never been good at those, "but all were doing today is doing a table reading for this weeks episode."

Lida's POV

Jace is really good at pep talks, he is so caring and considerate, I'm so lucky to have him. When we walk inside I'm greeted by Dan himself, "okay, Lida, all you'll be doing today is talking to the writers to start giving your character a background story, and then you'll meet with the wardrobe department and then come to our afternoon table reading, is that okay?" He said it so fast but I'm pretty sure I got it, meet with writers, meet with wardrobe department and go to afternoon table reading, "yeah," then he asks Jace to take me to the writers room and tells him to go get his script, I saw all of them and boy was there loads. I walk into the writers room and everyone was so nice towards me, maybe because I was the new girl, but apparently there like that with everyone, but we decide that my character is defiantly from New Zealand, has 1 older brother who is out of school and still in New Zealand, is good at singing and dancing and playing guitar, since they asked me what I'm good at, plus they asked me to show them, just to make sure I was good enough, and I have had a previous boy friend, just back in New Zealand, my characters personal traits are, funny, smart, strong, fast, sensitive, loveable, and all the other good qualities you'll find in a normal person, but I was super excited to find out my character was also going to try and steal Charlotte's job, I was super excited, considering I hated Riele in real life, but my character is also going to be hiding is that she has all the same powers that Superman and Supergirl have, I'm gonna have my own superhero outfit! After that I was shown to the wardrobe department, there we figured out what my characters style was going to be, we decided on a girly but casual, almost preppy type of look, they also measured me for my suit. After that, Jace came to meet me and take me to the table reading room, it was awesome, they had almost every person on the crew there, even my mum was there, she kept looking at me mouthing "isn't this cool," I just gave her a thumbs up, then they got up to reading the scene to when Henry breaks up with Bianca, that's my fav scene, Henry breaks up with Bianca and then I find out my character shows up, apparently this is a two parter and my character is in the second part, now, I'm really nervous, I've never been this nervous before.

Lida's mum's POV

I'm so proud of  my little girl, she has grown so much, and now has her own TV character, I don't know any mother that could be more proud than that. Lida told me she was going on a date with Jace after work, so I drove home thinking about what my girl would look like on TV, will she look shorter? Will she look taller? Will she not even look like my daughter at all? All I know is that is, she's happy and that means I'm happy, but her father has never met Jace and doesn't know about everything that's happening, I don't know how he will take it, I just know it won't go down well.

Jace's POV

I'm taking Lida somewhere tonight to celebrate her being on the show, were going somewhere really nice, I can't pronounce the name, but the food is really nice, I've been here before and it was really good. We sit down order and right now we are waiting for our meals, "congratulations, you should know I'm so proud of you and I know everyone else is as well," "thanks," "you okay, you seem really worried?" She looks really worried and its making me worry, "its fine, its just that my dad is coming back and I don't know how things are gonna happen when I tell him about us, and me being on TV, he's not really into that stuff, and he can be really strict when he wants to." Her dad sounds really scary, after hearing that, I'm a little worried, in fact, I'm terrified, I've never been this scared in my life.

Lida's POV

Me and Jace finish our meals and then we go back go our houses, we decided to walk since our houses weren't too far away from the restaurant, "Jace, I love you, and if things don't work out, I still love you no matter what, wish me luck," we kiss and it lasts for a wee while, then we separate and he says "goodbye," I feel a tear but I keep it back and run inside, nervous, but excited to see my dad, "MISS LIDA EVANS!"
Yikes, this is gonna be a really scary talk.

I hope Jace and Lida get to stay together, they are such a great couple, and to have that gone would be such a tradgety.
But the next chapter will be up real soon, promise.
I can't wait to see what happens.
