Chapter Ten

Supergirl's POV

I look at him while he's lying on the ground, not moving, don't worry I didn't kill him, I just knocked him out, the police arrive and take him away, "thank you Supergirl," "no problem chief," then I fly back to my house just like nothing happened.

Lida's POV

I take off the suit and walk to Jace's house, we finished filming season 3 two months ago, so I've had more time to be out there saving people, Cooper helps every now and then, but we still can't figure out who gave us our characters powers, Jace was determined to figure out who did it, he stayed up every night. The downside of being a hero and an actor, I can't walk around town and not get noticed, no matter who I am, Supergirl or Lida Evans, everyone wants a picture, its really hard, sometimes I wish I was never famous, but I love my job and being a superhero, but I just sometimes wish that it didn't happen so I could be normal again, like I was a year ago, when I first met Jace. But the plus side of being able to fly is, I can always fly back to New Zealand to see my old friends if I want to, (I haven't yet though,) I miss them so much, but at least I can still see them if I ever miss them too much, its always hard communicating, since whenever I'm awake, they were asleep in New Zealand, but tomorrow, me, my mum and my dad, are flying back to New Zealand for Christmas, I can't wait, even though I was only there a couple of days ago, its still exciting.

Today's the day we go to New Zealand, its only for 10 days, but I'm gonna miss Jace, we see each other every day. I also asked Cooper to look after the city for me since I was gone for a wee while. But were getting in the car and Jace runs up to me and gives me a present, "don't open it until Christmas, have fun, and I'll see you in ten days," "I love you too, I really gotta go, bye!" We get to the airport and board the plane, I'm so excited, but the flight takes forever, plus we have a lay over in Australia, then a three hour flight to Auckland and then we fly to Christchurch and have to drive to Temuka, I think to myself, "I could be there already," but I don't say it out loud, cause I know if I did, I would be in big trouble, I stay quiet the entire time. I'm not sitting with my parents because I'm in first class, Jace bought me first class tickets for all the flights I'm on, I love him so much, I agreed to be his girlfriend the day I found out Cooper had his powers, since then, he's been treating me like a princess, he doesn't need to, but he wants me to know that, no matter if I'm normal or not, he still loves me. We land in Australia for a 2 hour lay over, 2 hours, you have to be kidding me, but I manage to find a nice coffee shop and I get some coffee from there, after that we head to our gate and wait to board the plane, just before I board the plane, a little girl runs up to me, "I saw you on Henry Danger, your my favourite," "thank you, would you like to take a picture?" She says yes and I get my mom to take the picture, she says thank you and runs back to her family, that was so awesome, people from other countries know who I am. What is everyone in Temuka gonna treat me like, everyone used to bully me, what are they gonna say to me this time? But we board the plane and I take my seat for the flight to Auckland, my mind has all these crazy thoughts going through it, but one that stands out is, should I tell Lucy about my new superpowers? If I do, will she still be my friend? Will she think I'm weird and start teasing me like people did before I left? But I try to put all of that behind me, I just want to get to my grandparents house and sleep, all this traveling is making me very sleepy. We land in Auckland and I let out a little scream of excitement, I feel like crying, I'm home, I'm back in my own country, but I have a 1 hour lay over here until I can fly to Christchurch and see my family. I get off the plane and I scream, I can't believe it, Lucy flew up from Christchurch to see me, "what are you doing? Why are you here? I don't care, its so good to see you, secret handshake?" "Only if you remember it!" We do our little handshake and then she asks me, "so where's my first class ticket?" "What do you mean? Oh, that explains the reason Jace gave me two of them, I was so confused," then we hear a message telling us that our plane is boarding, we run to the gate and board the plane, this is going to be the best 10 days ever!
