I walked over to a woman, with flowing light brown hair, blue eyes that were almost white, pale skin untouched by the sun, and a posture that demanded respect this woman was my Alpha, Constance Bellarué. "You're upset, what's wrong?" she asked looking at me with care in her eyes, she's the one that raised me until I was old enough to take care of myself. "it's just been a long first day." I said shortly, unlocking my front door and walked in, Constance followed me inside and sat on my couch. "they'll be here shortly let's get this over with." she said getting to the point. My face got blank and I asked "why me? I'm not fit to be a leader, I can barely wake up on time, let alone lead a group of moody werewolves." she smirked and said "you are a moody werewolf." I threw my hands up and said "Exactly! Besides we don't even know what kind of werewolf I am." she smiled and grabbed my arm roman style, I gripped hers the same way. "I know what kind you are, and it's up to you to unlock you're true power, now this might hurt a bit." she dug her claws into my arm, and dug mine into hers. I felt a rush go through body, she smiled and said "its done you are now the Alpha of the pack, oh and be careful of Anthony, he can't be trusted." she said as she walked out my door.

I looked at my arm which was already healed, I walked around my house and decided to change into something other than my pj's. I grabbed a pair of black jeans, and changed my my shirt keeping my dark blue flannel, and just put on a grey t-shirt. I heard a car pull into the driveway and two doors shut, it was two guys both with muscular builds. They looked around my house and knocked on my front door, "no ones home man, lets go she's not here!" said one of them, "no she's here, I can smell her." the other said as he broke down my front door. I went into stealth mode, and stayed quiet. They came upstairs and I realized one of them was Anthony, he grabbed me and said "see told you!" Then something strange happened, I literally slipped through his grip on my neck. He looked at me and tried grabbing me again, but he just went through my body. I felt my body transform into my new form, my claws were a silvery mist color, and my fur grey and black. Anthony looked scared as he and his partner ran out, I changed back and called Sin and Kayla to come my house. I waited outside for them and I saw a guy in all black with his hood up and a crossbow in one hand, a bow on his back, and a gun strapped to his leg. He looked at me and walked into the woods when Kayla and Sin pulled up. "What the hell!" Sin said walking to my door picking it up and moving it, "Luna where's Constance?" Kayla asked, we walked in and sat down.

"She left, an Alpha is coming to kill her she said." I said looking at the woods, wondering where that guy went. "So she's gone then, she's going to die to protect us." Sin said looking sad, "hmm, Luna there's something different about you," Kayla said getting interrupted by a black Mustang pulled up in my driveway. Hunter got out and ran into my house and Sin yelled "What are you- " I interrupted her by yelling "Sin! That's enough!" her eyes got wide and whimpered, Kayla nodded like her questions had been answered. Hunter looked at the door laying on the porch. "what happened here?" he asked, he was wearing all black like that hunter in the woods watching the house. "someone broke in." I lied, it was only half a lie though. He looked concerned and walked into the living room. Kayla got up and said "Luna we'll talk later ok?" I nodded and Hunter asked "was I interrupting something?" Kayla shook her head and said "nope, come on Sin let's go, she's in good hands now." Kayla stood and walked out, Sin following her. I stood up and asked "How did you know where I lived?" He looked at me and said "A woman came by and told me what had happened." His pulse jumped, he was lying. I walked closer to him and asked "do I make you nervous?" We locked eyes and he answered "a little, I mean you're unpredictable." he was telling the truth, everything was steady. I felt something behind us, Hunter stood up and said "Hey I'll see you tomorrow ok?" I nodded and said "Maybe this time try not to hit me." he laughed and got in his car, after he drove off I grabbed my hoodie and went into the woods.

I walked deeper, being followed knowingly. Twigs snapped under my sneakers, as I walked deeper and deeper into the woods whoever was following me was keeping their distance. I came to a clearing, it was a graveyard. I felt something, "damn a trap!" I said to myself. I felt a strange sensation, a pulse of life so to say, whatever it was gave me some power. I felt myself transform as I was surrounded by werewolves from a different pack, when I was completely transformed a shock wave rippled across the graveyard, I could see the dead in the ground but as little blue lights and the living things were yellow lights. I could feel there fear growing inside them , I let loose a hair raising, blood curdling, goose bump giving howl. One of them hesitated and said "She can't see! Go attack!" she said clearly not knowing what she was up against, hell I didn't even know what kind of wolf I was. She charged at me I quickly turned and caught her by the throat and threw her, she hit a tombstone and a sickening snap came from her body as she coughed up blood. Two others came and helped her up and took her out of the graveyard, "She's a ghost wolf," a guy whispered as he backed away slowly, "or in some myths known as the Eyeless one, she sees our souls and feels our fear." I tilted my head at this. "We will leave this area, but our Alpha now knows of you, you won't be safe." he said as the group left.

I changed back to my normal form my clothes ripped, so I was traveling the woods naked and cold, I came into Kayla's backyard. She looked out her window, and her eyes got wide, she came out with an overcoat and let me come in. After a shower, Kayla gave some clothes, a plain t-shirt, and pajama bottoms. I ran the brush through my still damp hair as Sin came running into Kayla's room. "Constance is dead!" she yelled, me and Kayla looked at each other and said "we know," She kept going "Most of our pack has joined the Alpha that killed her, to his pack! Wait what you know!" we nodded and I said "Constance saw me before she left, and made me Alpha." her mouth fell open, Kayla said "She passed the Alphahood to Luna knowing exactly what kind of wolf she is." Sin sat down and completed the triangle we made on the floor, and Kayla continued "as an Emissary I had to learn about the different type of wolves, Luna is a Ghost wolf, a werewolf that can raise the dead, can see without actually using their eyes, can pass through solid objects even people, they are faster than any wolf, they are strong but they rely on their speed and abilities. They are rare and are only discovered when the person has gone through a great deal of death." Kayla finished letting us soak in the information. I stood up and said "well guess that makes me the next target then." Kayla nodded and held up her finger and said "there's something I forgot, Ghost wolves always have a guardian, but they only appear when the wolf summons them, they are known as Grave Guards." I nodded and looked out the window and Sin said "soooooo Luna is basically a death knight?" making me hit my head on the window laughing at her reference to WoW, Kayla nodded and said "basically." We ordered a pizza and had dinner together, and Kayla decided since my door was still broken that I'd stay at her house.
