When I woke up, I was laying on Hunter's chest, I looked up at him and smiled. Chrissy came out from the bathroom, I forgot I gave her a key and slightly jumped, "You two make a really cute couple." she said quietly, smiling. I smiled and nuzzled into his chest as she walked out. It was Sunday and a lazy for me, I was going to do some research today with an old friend. I felt Hunter's hand slide up my back, his hand found his way up my sweater and rested in the small of my back making me scoot closer to him. I sighed and started falling back to sleep again, I felt his steady heart beat and heard his breathing. I felt him move making me wake up again, I yawned and he said "sorry did I wake you up?" I smiled and kissed him and said "Nope, good morning." He smiled and asked "Does this mean I'm forgiven and we're back together?" I looked and said "hmmmmm let me see......" I kissed him again and he held me there for a moment kissing me back. "I'll take that as a yes then." he said smiling, I nodded and said "you better." we laughed and he said "I really have to pee." I laughed and rolled over letting him up, he rushed to the bathroom. When he got done I was getting dressed, I had my back too him but I hadn't put on a bra yet and said "Ummmmm I'll go back into the bathroom." I could hear the embarrassment in his voice as he went to bathroom. "It's safe." I said, I turned to see him still blushing "You're really red, and you've already seen me naked before." I said teasing him, "But that was different." he said I laughed and went to my closet. "How so?" I asked as I picked out a pair of blue jeans, and a grey, black, and white flannel shirt. "We had a our first fight that night over something stupid." he answered truthfully.

We went out to breakfast, a little diner that was in town. "Ah Senna, it's good to see you again." Said a little old lady at the front desk. "Hey Granny how are you?" I said hugging her, "Could be better but it's good to see you, and who is this handsome young man?" she asked as Hunter put his arm around my waist and said "I'm Hunter Argent m'am." Granny smiled and said "You be good to her she's a good girl." Hunter laughed and said "I know." He kissed the top of my head as we walked to the table. "So what's going on for today?" he asked looking at the menu, "Gotta do some research." I said sipping my sweet tea, we ordered and he asked "What kind of research?" I chewed my toast and said "on Vincent." He looked at me, as I brushed my hair out to the side. "It's cute when you do that." he said smiling at me, "Huh?" I said after swallowing a piece of bacon, "the way you move your hair out of your face and put it to one side." he said, I rolled my eyes and laughed. "Is everything ok?" the waitress asked I nodded and asked "Can we see Granny? I would like to talk to her before we leave." She smiled and said "Certainly." and walked to the back. Granny walked to our table and smiled "You wanted to see me dear?" she asked and sat next to me, "What do you know about an alpha named Vincent Christopher?" I asked Hunter looked confused, "Come with me." she said standing up. We followed her through the kitchen and she said "Sadie can you go clean the table they were at and take over please." Our waitress nodded and said "Sure thing." Sadie left and went to the front.

We went down a set of stairs, and entered a room. "Where are we?" Hunter asked, "We are in the Library, or Training grounds."I answered for Granny. "Granny is an elder, and happens to be a shaman and a werewolf." I said. "I eventually see all the young werewolves who aspire to be great leaders, protectors, healers and fighters." she said, and sat at a table inviting us to sit down. "So Vincent Christopher, yes?" I nodded and said "Yes something about him is kind of off, about him." She nodded and said "He didn't pass all the trails Constance, you or Kayla passed." She grabbed two books, and said "Vincent was a troubled boy when he came to me seeking training, he's a shadow wolf, a rare but not very strong one relies on intellect and abilities similar to yours Senna." she said laying the books in front of me, and continued "But unlike you, he lacked the innate ability to lead, and lacked loyalty. Constance called you a true alpha, loyalty, perseverance, protective, and a spark. Not every werewolf can become an alpha, and not every alpha can lead. Vincent showed some amazing traits but it was his brother that passed the trails." Me and Hunter looked at each other, "Brother?" he asked "Yes Benedict Christopher, an Earth wolf or Giant wolf, purely brute strength......" she said and I interrupted "And skin hard a stone." Granny looked at me and said "You have fought against it haven't you?" I nodded and said "Yes when I was protecting Hunter." Granny looked at us and said "If he was targeted, someone else that's close to you may be targeted again." I nodded and said "we'll be ready."

Before we left Granny gave Hunter and me a case of stuff, she told us to look at it when we got back to my house. My phone started ringing "Hello?" I said there was a loud bang "Luna get here now!" it was Chrissy she sounded panicked, "Kayla, Sin and I are holding them off as best as possible." I nodded and said "Hunter step on it, We'll be there in a minute." I hung up. It wasn't long before we got to the house, I got and saw Anthony standing in front with people trying to get close to the house but couldn't. "Dammit she warned us this would happen." he said he had his back to me, I tackled him. "Back off!" I growled two of the guys backed away, Hunter walked to the porch bow drawn. "Luna! Behind you!" Chrissy yelled. It was too late I got tackled by Anthony, he pinned me down and said "Gotcha!" he smirked and kissed me on the cheek. "Get away from her!" Hunter yelled firing an arrow into his shoulder, Anthony rolled off of me and said "Get her! Take her back to him!" I got hefted on to someone shoulder, and I saw Chrissy walk out of the house "Put her down!" she demanded. "Oh and what are you going to do if I don't?" said the guy carrying me, the wind picked up as she said "Put her down or I'll kill you." He started laughing as she got closer, the wind swirled around her she held up her hand and a bolt of light shot out of no where going through him. He fell dropping me, "Anyone else!" she yelled at the retreating attackers. I got up and hugged her, "You can thank me later, now come on." She said taking me inside the house.

"Yeah I'm a witch." Chrissy said plainly, "Why hide it from me though I'm a freaking werewolf that can raise the dead." I said laughing, Hunter had me sitting on his lap after Kayla checked me for injuries. Sin was walking around following Chrissy's cat playing with it, "I just didn't know how to tell you." she said truthfully. My dad came in and said "What's for dinner?" he looked saw that everyone was here, and he zeroed in on me and Hunter. "So is the boy?" he looked at Chrissy and asked, she nodded and he said "Girls leave us alone for a few." I kissed Hunter and said "Play nice dad." We went up stairs and surrounded the box in my room, "What's in it?" Sin asked poking the big wooden box, with Celtic symbols on it. "I don't let's find out." I said opening the box. Inside was weapons, books, vials of stuff, and a letter with a picture. 'Senna, if you're reading this I'm dead meaning they've gotten to me. You come from a family of hunters and warriors, but you also come from a family shamans meaning you're a healer as well. You're father's side of the family are the shamans and my side is the hunters and warriors, I'm sorry I'm not hear to tell you about this and your father is not here to do it for me. But anyways be brave baby girl and I love you. Love mom' I looked at the picture and it was a group picture of Constance, My mom, My dad, Granny, and my step father and on the back was 'The Pack'. I started to tear up and closed the box, "Excuse me." I said and set the letter down, and walked out. "Why didn't you tell me!" I yelled at my dad, interrupting his bonding time with Hunter, "Huh?" he said. I put the picture in his hand and said "Why didn't you tell me!" He looked at the picture and said "I didn't have time, if I did I would've." I punched the wall "I'm tired of the excuses!" I yelled my eyes bright blue and my claws out, "Senna, you're a werewolf aren't you?" he asked calmly. "Yes I am, I'm a ghost wolf, it happened shortly after mom and Greg died." I answered him still pissed, "Makes sense now, and as for you Hunter Argent, be good to my daughter." he said and my face went blank. "You have to be kidding me!" I yelled and walked out the door.

"Where are you going?" My dad asked, following me. "I can't believe you won't even take the time to explain to me what that picture meant, or who 'they' are, or anything!" I yelled at him. "Senna please calm down." he said turning me to face him. "Listen I didn't tell you to protect you, 'they' are a group of people bent on disrupting the balance and order of a group known as The Council, The Council is a group of Elders that have extensive knowledge of everything and are different walks of life. We honestly don't know who 'they' are but The Pack was sent here to investigate, we found some things in our investigation but we couldn't do anything to stop them because the leader disappeared." He said and I looked away from him and asked "Why did you leave?" He sighed and said "When you were little I saw how good Greg was with you and I knew I really wasn't ready to have an amazing kid like you." he hugged me and said "It was a mistake on my part I should've came back after they died." I started crying as he took me inside. Everyone stayed the night that night and Hunter was feeling overly protective and held me through the night again.
