The Threat Revealed

The halls were crowded, and I got bumped into yet again. "I swear if another person bumps into me again, I'm gonna bite their freaking head off!" I yelled not caring who heard me. Hunter was trying to make his way to me before class, but some girls were trying to ask him out, when he finally got to me I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and kissed him. "That's right! He's mine so back off!" I said and got glared at, "What was that for?" he asked smiling and wrapped his arms around me, "What can't I kiss my boyfriend?" I said kissing him again, "You can." he said kissing me back. "I have to go." I said not wanting to leave him, "Here, I got you something." he said getting a stuffed animal out of his bag, it was a wolf. I started laughing, "I figured you'd like it." he said laughing, I straightened my face and said "I don't." he looked down and said "Oh." I looked up at him and said "I love it, like I love you." I smiled kissing him, "I love you too." he said smiling back at me. "Excuse me, both of you to class." Said one of the teachers.

I was in class taking notes, the only people I talked to were Marlene and a guy named Blake that went to the school and didn't try to cop a feel, Hunter nearly lost it, Sin knocked people out that tried to do it to her but when they saw Kyle they backed off, Kayla and Steve had class together so I wasn't to worried about them besides Kayla would kick anyone's ass who tried anyways. "Hey Luna, I'm throwing a Halloween party costume party, it'll be a good for you and your group to meet some of the non assholes of North Mountain, and Hunter seems pretty cool I'd like to talk to him more." I took the invite and said "Aww does someone have a bromance with my boyfriend." He laughed and said "After seeing how protective he is with you, I can only imagine how protective you are of him, besides I like Marlene." He blushed a little when she came into the room, "Then ask her out." I said he gave me a crazy look and I shrugged as she sat down but she was upset.

I wrote Marlene a note, 'What's wrong?' I passed it to her, 'They killed Granny!' She replied my eyes widened, I got up and left the room without warning. I went to my locker and grabbed my bag. "Luna where are you going?" Blake asked as he and Marlene followed me, "They've gone to far....." I said trailing off, "Luna don't, you can't take them on your own even with your powers." Marlene blurted out in front of Blake, "What's going on?" he asked clearly confused. "Someone was killed that was close to the both of us." I said with anger in my voice. "Was it Granny?" he asked the both of us looked at him and Marlene asked "How do you know her?" he sighed and lifted up his shirt revealing a long scar on his stomach. "She saved me, and healed me from something that attacked me a couple months ago, she warned me that my world was now opened up." he said, "We're werewolves." Marlene said, he nodded and said "ok what are we going to do?" I heard someone laughing, it was Taylor and she said "Its a shame about Granny isn't it? The old bird put up one hell of a fight." She laughed again, Marlene rushed at her. "Now now sweety." she said throwing Marlene back with a flick of her wrist "Don't want you to end up like your dear Gran Gran now would we?" she mocked "And as for you Little Luna, we have plans for you as well. But you Blake is it we don't need you now do we, so let me finish the job my idiot comrades weren't able to finish." She said as she rushed at I grabbed her arm and threw her down the hall, my claws were out. "Get her out of here!" I said the Blake, he nodded and picked up Marlene. "Oh so she rises to the occasion!" Taylor said standing up, "The Alpha that was never meant to be!" She said walking to me I looked around and everything was frozen. "We won't fight just yet." she said walking by me and out of the school and everything unfroze.

After school the three of us went to the diner, or what was left of it. Sadie was inside, we walked in and she had scratches on her arm. "What happened?" I asked still really pissed, "It was Benedict and his pack." she said looking around the trashed diner, "Granny told me to give you this note, I don't know what it says." she said handing me the note, 'Luna, go to the training room and get everything I marked for you. Be strong and go forth. Granny' Marlene read it over my shoulder and started crying, Blake held her. We went to the training room, and a whole arsenal at our disposal. Spell books, Silver weapons, armor that expanded with a changing werewolf, herbs and vials, and maps of different. We moved everything to my basement, and set up everything with the help of my dad.
