Chapter 2

"Gray it's not like I want to marry you or anything. You understand right?" I asked him shyly. I hate lying to him dammit!

"But.. You like me?" he asked but he didn't sound like he wanted me to answer. "I can't believe Erza Scarlet likes me." he said flustered.

"Um... We're still here Gray." said Lucy confused. She looked over at me, then back at Gray. "We're all still friends right?" she asked.

Gray ignored the question and began whispering to himself. "I can't believe the strongest woman in the whole guild likes me. How am I gonna live with someone who can kill me in two seconds if I try hitting on another girl?.... Why me?" he stood flustered looking down at the ground.

"Um...Gray?" I looked at him concerned.

"Well I'm just gonna leave you two alone." she turned to leave. "Bye guys!"On her way out she gave me a wink and left.

"NO YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME ALONE WITH HIM ARE YOU CRAZY?!?!" I yelled at her.

"Sorry but Natsu said he had a surprise for me!" she shouted in the distance.

Gray turned to me and looked at me taking a few deep breaths and asked "So.. When did you start liking me?" he asked but now he looked serious.

"Um... Well ever since we met I had always been drawn to you... only a few years ago did I realize I am in love." I blushed brightly and kept my face to the floor.

"Hm.. interesting." he said.

Shortly after I heard him approaching me. I closed my eyes. I felt him move the hair away from my cheek. Nothing happened for a few seconds then I felt his soft lips touch my cheek. I went red and almost passed out. But I held in all embarassment. I looked up to him expressionless.

"You like me right?" he asked calmly. I don't want to answer. I'm too shocked but he asked again. "Erza are you ok?" this time he had some concern in his voice. "I didn't mean to hurt you or-"

"SHUTUP!" I yelled. I snapped and looked at him with fury in my eyes.

"I'm sorry Erza I-"

"I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO SHUTUP!?" I yelled.

"ERZA LISTEN!" I jumoed at the sudden anger in his voice. I sat down and tried to calm down taking deep breaths. "Can you tell me what I did wrong?" he asked.

"You didn't do anything wrong... you did everything right that's the problem. You making me like you even more and I don't want to be hurt." I looked down and tried to avoid his gaze.

"Ok well how do you want this to playout?" he asked trying to get my attention.

"Gray... You do know I'm... With someone else right?" I asked him as quietly as posssible.
