The story

Chapter 1

Geometry isn't as boring as I remembered it to be. Besides the fact that I hardly understood a thing or two of what the teacher said, time passed very quickly. I literally was surprised to hear the bell ring. Ariel sat at the seat right next to me and Grayson right behind me.
Ariel was the only functioning person in class this morning. She was the only one to participate, as always. Ariel doesn't really study that much ever, but somehow she always manages to keep her grades up. Always at the top of the class, teachers like her because she is organized. I don't say these things in a mean way, I never would. It's just unbelievable how little effort she puts in it and how in the end she ends up being an A student. I really admire that about her. Of course she is always willing to help me, that's why I haven't failed school . If it wasn't for her I would probably be grounded for the rest of my life because of grade papers.

Once the teacher said we were dismissed I got up and left the classroom. I'm now heading to my locker. Not too many moments after I feel Ariel's hands wrapped around me.

-So what did you think of the triangles?
-They were okay.
-Just okay?
-They are not my type, I don't think we will work out. It's not them, it's me. They are great but it won't work out.
I joke. And I got the same response she always gives me when I say something not that funny.

-Did I sense a bit of humor there? Mmm.... wait! No. Because there wasn't any Dolan.

Same words, same sarcastic tone in her voice every single time.

-You think you're smart Martins?
-I don't just think, I am indeed.
-Come here.
I say and hug her tight. She immediately buries her head in my chest and she gets lost inside my hands.

-You are so tiny Martins.
-I really am not. At least Ms.Lavender doesn't think so..
-Oh God not again... That woman is unbelievable...
-Please don't act like that. She really is trying to help me.
-You don't need any help Ariel. At least not that kind.
-I just need to lose some weight, nothing too fancy.
-She is unbelievable.
-Ethan, you know I have full control over my weight.
-Yes, but that doesn't mean you should lose any.
-Fine, calm down.
-I'm just looking out for you. I want to make sure you're healthy and happy always.
-Well I am, so good job babe.

She and I kissed for a while and then the bell rang for second period. Now we have biology when what I really need is sleep.
