Chapter 8

I walk back to my room to spray some cologne on me, I grab my coat and rush downstairs.

-The bride is finally here ladies and gentlemen!
Ariel yells in a manly voice. My parents laugh, I grab her hand and everyone gets in the car.

The restaurant we are headed is right in the center of the city. Downtown New Jersey is always busy and crowded. Not so much today which is a good thing.
We drive around for a while before we reached our destination. 'Rooftop' is a really nice restaurant I must admit. What's pretty cool about it is the fact that the roof opens and looking up it's like sitting on a rooftop rather than in a restaurant. We get inside by the time we leave the car, passing the waiting queue due to our reservation. We got the nice seats that are no doubt mom's request, right in the center.
Gray has yet to contact us and it's kind of worrying really. 5 missed calls from me and a whole lot more than 10 from mom. She's worried, dad too but no one wants to spoil our going out. We'll just sit and wait for him before we order, he still is not that late.
-So how did you two spent your morning?
Mom asks me and Ari.
-You know us, we love a nice morning picnic.
Ari responds.
-I really envy you guys, you do so nice things together. It's always staying in and watching tv for me.
-What's that suppose to mean honey?
My dad asks seeming offended.
-Am I lying?
-Well... No but we have very busy days and we are both very tired I mean...

And at that point I just stopped listening to my parents little argument. Where are you bro?
