Oliver stands there before me lost for words. His expression is blank and devoid of any English word he would use in a situation like this. I hold the ginger ale in my hand nervously as I watch him glance from the test that is still in his hands to me.

"Y-yo-you...," he stammered before glancing at the test again making sure I wasn't lying.

I reach over on the floor and grab the other two and hand them to him. He takes them and compares them shaking his head. His typical tan complexion goes white as if I told him he was the father. I can see it in his terrified face this changes a lot of plans....running away would be ideal but We would be running forever. Staying only puts us in more of a risk of running into him and getting caught and entrapped.

"You can't be," Oliver stutters as he frantically checks the instructions that longer on the counter still to make sure it was not misread.

"Why do you think I took three?" I counter as I climb to my feet slowly. "I had this screwed up dream that I was pregnant-"

"-and you figured to take pregnancy tests?" he interrupts in disbelief.

"No," I state flatly clearly aware of how shocked he is but he isn't the one who is in this situation. "After the dream I check my phone, and saw what today was and back tracked to the last day I remember before I thought I was under his control for a week but it turned out I was under his control for over two months and last time..I had my...period was back in November. So I was pregnant before I went to see you on Christmas."

"It could be someone else's kid....I mean you didn't sleep with him...you wouldn't he is a prick," Oliver laughs nervously as he places the tests on the counter. I don't reply I just give him a glance and shrug my shoulders as an apology. "Oh melody you didn't...seriously? With him?"

"I thought he changed and I kind of started to feel for him," I snap defensively like a child who was being scolded for hitting.

"There is still a chance these are false positives....We should bring you to an obgyn and find out," he frantically says as he starts scrolling through his phone.

"Fine but can we go tomorrow?" I ask as fatigue hits me hard. "You can call and make the appointment I am pretty sure that all three tests aren't false positives and I'm sure my missing my period for almost four months are both clear cut signs I am pregnant."

Defeated he grabs his phone and walks out of our room leaving me to clean up and go to bed. He knows he cannot argue with me especially when the facts are all there laid out before me. I take out my phone as I line the pregnancy tests in a row. I quickly snap a picture with all three tests and without a second thought I send the picture to Kilgrave. Whether there is a slight chance I am not pregnant he needs to know. My head is screaming at me to not send it but my heart and something else stronger implored me to send it. I watch as my phone pings with confirmation that Kilgrave's phone got it. I am sure his phone is on him...while he sits waiting to hear from his eyes in the city if I was spotted.

I take the tests and toss them in the trash and retire to bed. My day was crazy and life changing to say the least. I pull out my phone charger and hook it up. As I settled into bed my phone started vibrating relentlessly. I glance at it and see my phone blowing up with several texts from Kilgrave. I don't bother to look right now I just turn my phone on silent and drift to sleep trying to think of anything else but him and our child.

I wake to the sound of Oliver's voice. I roll over from a dreamless sleep which was very pleasant seeing as my dream from my nap yesterday. Oliver is already dressed and has laid out my clothes for me with my things including the things I bought packed.

"Hey you're appointment is in two hours and we are relocating to a hotel near there," Oliver implored kindly which was a change from his reaction last night. "Why don't you shower up and change and I'll meet you downstairs in the lobby."
