Little Hill town was in view, There was a lot less snow, and Oliver and I were excited as ever. Oliver had trained his Swinub a little while i was in the Pokecenter with Glameow, and had become alot stronger. We walked down the trail for about 20 minutes then we arrived at the entrance of the city. "Little Hill town" Said Oliver "Our journey continues" We walked around for a few minutes when we came across a small park where people were training their Pokemon. "Wow" I said. There were Pokemon here I had never even heard of before. "Why don't we train up for the gym battle here?" Asked Oliver. "Yeah sounds good!" We went to find trainers to battle. "Oliver found someone fairly quickly and started battling almost instantly. He was facing a Stantler, One of the few non-ice type Pokemon we get back home. Stantler was a Normal type Deer looking Pokemon with an OK attack stat but weak on defense. I managed to find a trainer to battle shortly after Oliver. Her name was Lacy and she had long blue hair that covered half her face. "Alright Glameow come on out!" I threw Glameow's Pokeball out and she appeared on the field. "Meow!" Glameow looked ready to battle. "Go Gligar!" Lacy threw a Pokeball out and a Gligar appeared. I pulled out my Pokedex and scanned Gligar. "Gligar, The FlyScorpion Pokemon. Gligar used its cape-like wings on its back to fly from tree to tree quickly and quietly." Gligar was a Flying and Ground Pokemon so this would be a fair fight. "Gligar use Quick Attack!" Lacy's Pokemon flew at Glameow at Blinding speed. "Glameow Watch out!" Glameow jumped high in the air just in time. I was surprised at how fast she was. "Glameow use Shadow Claw!" Glameow smashed her paw into the ground. Then suddenly a shadow traveled quickly through the ground from Glameow's paw and when the shadow was below Gligar, It came out of the ground and inflicted a lot of damage to Gligar. "Gligar stay strong and use fury cutter!" Gligar reached out one of its claws and pounded Glameow. The attack didn't do much. "Glameow, use Torment!" Glameow made a scary look at Gligar. This move prevented Gligar from using the same move more than once at a time. "Gligar use Quick Attack once again!" Gligar flew at Glameow but this time she couldn't react fast enough and was sent flying on impact. "Glameow stay strong and use Hypnosis!" Glameow stared intently at Gligar with a mesmerizing look in her eyes, Causing Gligar to fall asleep. "Now Glameow use Return!" Glameow rammed Gligar with such force, that he fainted. "Gligar return..." Lacy returned Gligar to his Pokeball. "Go Corphish!" She threw out another Pokeball and the Crab like Pokemon Corphish emerged onto the field. "Corphish use Bubble beam!" Corphish emitted an array of bubbles at Glameow. The bubbles hit Glameow and did a decent amount of damage. "Glameow, Shadow claw!" Glameow smashed her paw on the ground creating the shadow, When it hit Corphish it sent him flying back a few feet. This attack did alot more than I expected. "Corphish hang in there, Use Vice grip!" Corphish flew at Glameow and squeezed her between his pinchers. This attack did alot of damage to Glameow but she stood strong. "Glameow finish this with Return!" Glameow flew at Corphish and right when she was about to make impact... "Corphish use Substitute!" Corphish stood still and didnt do anything. Substitute required energy to use and Corphish didnt have that energy. "Damn it!" Lacy yelled. Glameow rammed into Corphish and sent him flying back about 15 feet. Corphish fainted. "Wow, Nice job Glameow!" Glameow smiled at me and we walked over to Lacy who had just returned Corphish to his Pokeball. "That Glameow of yours is really strong!" She said. "Haha thanks!" Glameow smiled. "Meow!!!" She seemed happy as usual. "Well I want to go on a journey but i have nobody to go with. Do you have an open spot?" Lacy asked me. "Umm yeah sure! Im actually with that guy over there." I pointed to Oliver who had just finished his battle with Stantler. "Were headed over to challenge the Gym here" I told her "Cool! Im actually not a trainer but i do enjoy pokemon battles! Im a Pokemon Collector! my main goal is to fill my Pokedex." She said. "I have a Pokedex too! Im actually filling it out to help Professor Jane back in Lowrock Town. Thats my home town at the top of the mountain." "Cool im sure we will have alot of fun together!" I introduced Oliver to Lacy and we made our way over to the Pokemon Center to heal our team before heading to the Gym.
