The world, I wish, was mine to save,
And you, my love to cradle,
But day by day you waste away,
And here I sit unable.
Enamored with enigma,
Mesmerized by mystery,
Is it the great unknown
That makes my heart so blistery?
Lord, let me out this labyrinth,
And make me much more wise,
For my heart is a fickle thing,
A time bomb in disguise.
