She's a sunrise when she arrives,
As the shades of dull night rise,
To reveal the vibrant, violent world,
She leaves for all our eyes.
She's a sunset when's she leaves,
An infernal autumn leaving,
All the foliage stripped of flecks,
Of nature's golden paint this evening.
She's a sunrise when she lies,
That utopian fantasy,
Marred by words so full of love,
Stripped of lilac sanity.
She's a sunset when she sings,
As the notes all die too soon,
For no Sun can hold its breath,
Without igniting it to fumes.
