I was awakened the next morning by a shrill screaming noise coming from outside my room. Still slightly groggy, I shot out of bed and opened the door, only to come face to face with a clearly frightened Ellie.
"MIA THERE'S A STRANGER WITH BIG POOFY HAIR IN OUR BATHROOM!" She cried.
Memories of last night came flooding back. The park, Queen, Freddie flirting with me after letting the boys stay in the guest room which made my face hot at the thought. As surprisingly happy I was to find out that I wasn't dreaming, I quickly realized that I'd have to tell Ellie about everything that happened.
"Dude, calm down." I ordered, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Go downstairs and make some pancakes. I'll...um...take care of this guy."
Before she could protest I turned her around and lightly shoved her towards the staircase. As soon as she reached the bottom, the bathroom door opened, revealing a blushing Brian in a shirt and underwear. He looked pretty cute, which made the corners of my mouth tug up slightly, but managed to fight off the massive grin trying to spread across my face.
The embarrassed man shifted uncomfortably. "Uh...well I met your roommate I think." Brian said, rubbing his neck.I couldn't help but chuckle at his humility. "Yeah, that was Ellie." I explained. "So are you the only one awake?"
He shook his head and headed towards the guest room. "I'm pretty sure the only one sleeping is Deacy." Brian said as he walked in.
As he suspected, each boy was up and putting back on their clothes except for John, who was still curled up on his air mattress, sound asleep.
"Hello, Mia!" Roger greeted as he pulled his shirt over his head.I waved, sending him a small smile. It felt kind of awkward standing there and basically watching the band change.
"Hi Roger." I replied. "Did you all sleep well?"
He shot a mischievous grin to Freddie, who scrunched his nose in distaste. "Like a princess." He said.
I laughed shyly. "Uh, good. So are you guys ready for breakfas-"John immediately sprang up from his bed. "HMBREAKFAST?"
Freddie fluffed Deacy's hair as he passed by him to grab his jacket. "I suppose that'll be a yes on the food, darling." He chuckled.
I grinned and headed towards the door. "Okay, come on then."Down the stairs we went, me leading the band into the kitchen where Ellie was facing the stove, flipping pancakes.
I motioned for the boys to sit at the table and walked over to my roommate, wondering what I was going to say to her.
"Um...Good morning El." I said pathetically.
She didn't take her eyes off the stove as she spoke. "Hey, Mia." Ellie replied. "Is that poofy haired guy gone? You know, I'm actually suprised at you. I would have never thought the first party you go to, you pick up a guy and bring him home. Good for you!"My cheeks burned at her insinuation. "N-no, it wasn't like that, Ellie." I stammered.
A low chuckle came from the table, grabbing her attention and causing her to turn around. Her eyes widened at the sight of all the strangers and immediately raised her spatula in defense.
"Who are those guys?! ARE WE BEING HELD HOSTAGE IN OUR OWN HOME OR SOMETHING?!" She shrieked, breathing heavily. I rolled my eyes at her for being overly dramatic and lowered her hand. "Relax, they aren't robbers or anything." I said.
The foursome had to suppress their giggles at my roommate.
"Far from it, my dear." said John with a kind smile.I carefully removed the cooking utensil from Ellie's hand and placed it on the counter. "Go sit down and I'll explain everything over breakfast."

With careful wording I told the story of the massive whirlpool at the lake and how somehow, someway, Queen popped out and knocked me unconscious, and eventually having them stay the night at the house. Silence overtook the room as I waited for Ellie to respond. She looked at me with blank cerulean eyes before nearly choking on her pancakes in laughter. "That's crazy! Those Queen guys are like 70 years old, and Freddie is de-" I slammed my hand against her mouth before she could finish her sentence.
There's no telling what could happen if we told the band about their futures, especially Freddie's.
