Mia led the way and let me step in first, shutting the door behind her. I smirked as I looked at the walls, remembering the Queen posters she had. "Did I ever tell you how much I enjoy your wall decor?" I asked playfully. She tilted her head curiously, until she glanced around the room and her cheeks flushed. "Shut up." Mia said, suppressing a smile. My hands raised defensively and turned towards the bed, where I noticed a keyboard sitting on the wall adjacent to it.
"You play?" I asked, gesturing towards the instrument. She shook her messy curls. "Not really, I just like to mess around on it. My grandpa gave it to me when I was about sixteen." She said. I nodded and stepped towards it. "Do you mind if I play on it?" I asked. Mia smiled cutely at me. "Go ahead!"
I carefully picked the keyboard and sat down on the bed, placing it in my lap. Before I could ask for it she grabbed the bulky plug and pushed it into a nearby outlet. I nodded a thanks and then pressed the 'ON' button. My fingers danced on the keys in tempo and my lips hummed along. After a few moments I heard Mia hum along, taking the spot next to me. When the song ended I looked up at her.
"That's one of my favorites." She grinned sheepishly. My face lit up.
"It's one of my favorite ones to perform." I said happily. I scooted over some and patted the silky tie-dye comforter.
"Would you like to learn a song? I asked. She smiled widely, but I could tell she was trying to suppress it some. Her dark curls bounced vigourously.
"Sure." Mia said calmly.
She positioned herself closer to me so the keyboard laid across both our laps. I placed her hands where they needed to go and put her fingers on different keys. "Alright, so keep them like that the whole time except move the first finger up here," I guided, pointing to the higher A. "And the first finger on your other hand down here every four beats." I said, pointing to a low C. She nodded and did as I explained, switching fingers every so often. It was bumpy at first, but she slowly got the hang of working her left hand. I could tell she was having trouble with the right one, so I put my hand over hers to help.
Mia looked up at me with her swampy green eyes and smiled sheepishly. I smiled back, and found my own eyes being pulled into hers. Her hands had gradually stopped playing as we got sucked into each others gazes, our faces inching closer and closer together until my lips pressed firmly against hers.
Our mouths moved together rhythmically, the sweet taste of her warming mine. I found myself lowering her back first onto the bed, not minding where the keyboard went. Her hands trailed up my shirt and gently dug her nails against my back, one hand playing with the hair on the nape of my neck. I paused to catch a breath, and then left a trail of kisses from her jaw line to her collar bone. She moaned quietly in an attempt to contain it. With a chuckle I moved back up to her face and we kissed passionately once again.
I could've stayed like this forever, and frankly I wanted to, but the door abruptly burst open without warning, showing Roger in the door way. He looked slightly horrified at our compromising position. His blue eyes darted away quickly from us. "Oh-um-sorry, I heard a loud thump from up here so I went to go see if everything was alright and-and yeah..." Roger blurted. I cast my gaze down under me, where Mia looked incredibly embarrassed. I quickly got off of her and sat up.
The keyboard was laying upside down on the floor from when it must have fallen off the bed, which would explain the loud thump Roger heard. I guess neither of us noticed due to obvious reasons.
Mia sat up as well and rubbed her neck nervously. "Uh, everything's fine." She said, slightly out of breath. Roger nodded shyly and shut the door behind him when he swiftly left.
**Mia POV**
"Well that was awkward." I chuckled humourlessly. Freddie glanced over at me and smirked. His toned arm wrapped around me and pulled me close to his chest. "It's only because you're innocent, my dear." He said. I frowned and crossed my arms defensively. "I'm not that innocent." I retorted. Freddie rolled his eyes. "Sure, darling."
He tilted my head up towards his so I looked directly at his piercing dark eyes. "I could show you things that would make you very uninnocent." His voice purred in my ear. My throat went dry at his insinuation. My feet met the floor and I pulled Freddie up with me. "Maybe we should go down stairs. Do you think Roger said anything?" I suggested.
"Well I'm certain he didn't purposely, but knowing our nosy company down stairs..." Freddie trailed off with a slight shake of his head. I grabbed his face and smooched his large nose reassuringly.
"I suppose it isn't a big deal." I soothed. He nodded and opened the door for me theatrically. "Shall we?" He asked with a regal tone.
I giggled and led the way down the stairs, where the bunch was chatting around the living room. John, Brian, and Ellie took notice of us immediately; Roger blankly stared at his drink, watching the contents swirl like a tornado in its bottle.
Naturally, Ellie was first to speak.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't-"
"Shut up." I said, casually sitting next to her on the couch. Freddie took the other spot beside me and sat quietly. Ellie giggled girlishly. "Nice hickies, Mimi. Where'd you get 'em?" She asked, poking my neck.
My cheeks flushed and I put my hands over the sides of it. "You know how I feel about that word." I grumbled. Freddie put his arm around me comfortingly. "It's okay, they aren't even that noticable." He reassured. A snort came from the other end of the room. "Please, I can see those love bites from here." Brian protested. Deacy elbowed him and glared heavily at Ellie. It was cute how intimidating he tried to be, but his puppy dog face wouldn't allow it. "Leave them be, you two. It's none of our business." He said defensively. I sighed in relief. "Thank you." I said, and Deacy smiled in return. Ellie frowned and gave me a sad squeeze. "I'm sorry, its just...I hate seeing my baby grow up so fast..." She wimpered. A single finger wiped away an invisible tear and I laughed softly. "That's cute." I commented. Ellie smiled brightly. "I try," she said. "Now, I think its time that we had a little talk." I cringed and immediately covered my ears with my hands. I knew well what she was going to say. "Oh God..." I mumbled. Ellie shouted loudly, making my ear muffs useless. "SAFE SEX IS IMPORTANT, MIA. USE PROTECTION."
Brian and John squealed loudly in laughter, and Freddie tried to keep his in but failed. In the end I eventually giggled along with them. But then there was Roger, who still looked lost in his thoughts. His sky blue eyes caught mine and he quickly stood up. "I'm going to bed." He mumbled. He carried (or rather dragged) himself up the stairs with not so much as a look towards any of us and disappeared. I frowned sadly. "What's his problem?" I asked. Everyone collectively shrugged their shoulders. "I'm not quite sure. He was fine before you two got down here." Brian said.
"Maybe we bugged him too much about what he walked in on earlier?" John thought out loud.
A feeling of guilt spread through my stomach.
"I should go talk to him..." I murmured, standing up and walking towards the staircase. No one seemed to stop me, so I went on with my journey and stopped outside the guest bedroom.
*A/N* Well I'll be damned, two updates in the same day xD Sorry if the make out scene was poorly written, I've never really done anything of that sort before. Hope you enjoyed it, though!
