How I Proposed

"I'll pick you up at 6 okay?" I told my girlfriend of 3 years. "Okay, I love you Camila." She said giving me a gentle kiss. I moaned into the kiss and pulled away. "I love you too Lauren, see you later." I said getting into my car, pulling off. "Camila chill, everything's going perfectly and Lauren has no idea what's going on, she'll love it." My best friend said hanging up. To say I was nervous was an understatement, I was more like scared straight.

Later that day: 5:50pm

"Yeah, I'm on my way babe, see you in a few," I said hanging up. I got into my car, driving to my girlfriend house. We lived very close which was a good thing. I pulled up outside her house and knocked on the door. "Hi babe, happy anniversary!" She said pulling me into a huge hug. "Happy anniversary to you too. You're stunning baby. Let's go. I've got the whole night planned." I said handing her white chocolate and roses. "You're so sweet, thank you." She said giving me a passionate kiss. I helped her into my car and drove to the destination. "Where are we going?" She asked turning down the music. "It's a surprise, well not anymore." I said pointing to the Disneyland sign ahead. "OMG, babe I love you!" She said getting out dragging me with her. We rode every ride we could until the fireworks show started. "Come on, I want you to see this." I said walking over to the fireworks. My friend walked up to me, handed me the box and stood in the crowd. "Ladies and gentlemen, we have a special announcement for a very special girl. So Ms. Lauren Jauregui a very special question to ask you." The announcer said pointing up towards the sky. "Will you marry me Lauren Jauregui?" The fireworks spelled out as I got down on one knee. She turned to look at me, her eyes widening when she saw me on one knee. "I've loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you. You're the most beautiful person I've ever laid eyes on and I couldn't be more happier to call you mine. However, I wanna call you mine forever. I love you so much, so will you do me the honour and marry me?" I asked opening the ring box. "YES YES A HUNDRED TIMES YES!" She said jumping into my arms. I sat her down and slid the ring on her finger, noticing how perfectly I fits. She grabbed my face and kissed me very passionately. "I love y-you so much Camila." She said sniffling into my shoulder. I simply held her tighter and kissed her cheek. Best night ever!
