Surprise

I really miss my girlfriend Lauren we didn't see each other for the past seven months. It's really hard for her to deal with me being in the military but now I'm finally heading home and I will be there for her. I'm currently driving to the Jauregui's on my way there I called Lauren. After the first ring she answered the phone. "Hey baby I miss you so much!" Hearing Lauren's voice always makes me smile. "Hey muffin I miss you too! What are you doing?" I asked her. "I'm home with my family! They miss you too!" Lauren said. "Awww I miss them too! I will be home soon I promise!" I said. Then I heard sniffle and I know that she was crying and it breaks my heart. "Hey, hey, hey don't cry I will be home I promise just don't cry please you know how I hate when you cry" I said. "I know it's just I really miss you and I want you to be home" Her voice cracked in the end. "I know and I miss you like crazy but I need to go now." I said. "Okay but please call me when you can and please stay safe!" She said her voice getting shaky again. "I will I promise. See you soon. I love you nugget!" I said. "I love you too baby. Forever and always" She said. "To the moon and back!" I said and I ended the call. Two minutes later I was at the front door. I take a deep breath and I knocked on the door. After a few seconds the door opened and there was Mike when she sees me he engulf me in a big hug. "We missed you kid" Mike said. "I missed you guys too" I said my voice cracked. After we pulled away we get inside and I greeted Clara, Chris and Taylor. "So where is Lauren?" I said. "She's in her room after you two talked she went to her room" Chris said. "I think she is crying" Taylor said. "Go! She needs you!" Clara said. "Okay! Goodnight!" I said. "Goodnight!" They said in unison. I quickly get to her room and I knocked I heard a faint 'come in' after that I opened the door and there she was. She didn't see me because she had her back facing me but I heard her sniffle. I walked to her bed and sit down and said. "You know that I hate when you cry!" After the last word left my mouth she quickly got up and faced me. She started to cry even more but engulf me with a hug. "I missed you" She sobbed in to my chest. "I missed you too so much!" I said tears coming down in my cheeks. After we both calmed down we got in bed and cuddled and talked about what happened in the past seven months. The next morning I got up pretty early because I needed to go shopping. After three hours I found what I was looking for and I headed home. When I got home Lauren was on the couch watching TV with Chris and Taylor. When she sees me she got up and hugged me and said. "Baby where have you been? You've been gone like three hours!" She said. "I know and I'm sorry but I needed to do something" I said nervously. "In six in the morning? What was that important?" Se said. "I know what I will do is simple but I need to do it right now!" I said. "What are you talking about?" She asked confused. "I love you with all my heart and I know you are the one for me. I want to start a family with you and this is the first step to begin. I want kids with you I want to die with you. You are my everything and I will do anything to make you be the happiest person in the world. I love you forever and always to the moon and back. You are my sunshine and I need you for the rest of my life. So..." I said and I got on one knee. "Lauren Michelle Jauregui Morgado will you marry me?" I said and I looked in her eyes. She's been crying the whole time and can't say a word she just nodded. I put the ring on her finger and I hugged her. After a few second she pulled away and said. "Yes I will marry you!" She said with the most adorable smile I have ever seen. "I love you!" I said. "I love you too!" She said and leaned in so did I and we finally kissed. I love kissing her I never be used to kissing her it's always feels so new. We pulled away hearing clapping. I looked at her family smiling and they congratulate us. I'm marrying the love of my life.
