I rolled around on my bed, patting the empty space around me. A frown took over my face when I realized that Lauren must've left after I confessed my feelings for her. Even though I was drained I forced myself to get up, stopping by the mirror to look at my slovenly appearance. My hair was messy, my eyes were puffy, and my nose was extremely red. It was only midnight but I couldn't stand my appearance so I changed into clean clothes. I washed my face and crawled back into bed, sitting up with my back resting on the headboard. I took out my phone and started to scroll through Twitter as I tried to cheer myself up but I ended up crying again. I hugged my knees up to my chest while I thought about Lauren, apart of me still thinking she'd come back to at least talk to me. "Who am I kidding? She doesn't love me. That's why she left." I whispered to myself as I lifted my head up. I pulled my blanket over my body and stared blankly at the wall. Lauren popped up in my head once in a while and I found myself sobbing uncontrollably. "Stop crying Camila." I scolded myself as I took a few deep breaths. I saw headlights of a car illuminate my room followed by an obnoxious noise. I angrily paced over to the window, opening it slightly so I could see who was honking. Lauren got out of her car and she saw me looking out through the window so she pointed at the door. I hesitantly opened it and she pulled me into a hug once she stepped in. "I thought you left." I cried into her shoulder and she rubbed my back soothingly. "I went for a drive so I could set myself straight. I would never leave. I love you." Lauren mumbled the last part and I pulled away from her embrace. She wiped the tears from my eyes and put her forehead on mine. "I love you Camila." Lauren stated more clearly and I stayed frozen. I let her words sink in and she kept on repeating herself. "I heard you the first time...do you really? Or are you saying it so I won't cry?" I questioned and Lauren tilted her head. She lifted my chin and I gulped loudly so she put her free hand on my waist. "I really do love you." Lauren spoke softly and I cupped her face. She leaned in slowly and I felt my pulse rise. Her soft lips interlocked with mine and I felt light headed from the immense pleasure I was receiving. Lauren moved forward and I walked backwards until I fell onto my bed. She pulled away for a second and I connected our lips again. Our lips moved in sync and I felt her warm hands slide up my shirt. I moaned at her touch and she pulled away panting. Lauren laid down beside me and she pointed at her lap. I rested my head on her lap and she ran her fingers through my hair. My eyes became heavy but I fought the urge to fall asleep. "Go to sleep. I won't be going anywhere."
