Why did this happen(COMPLETE)

Chapter 3

-Oh no...She's already dead...I thought she would last longer than that...it's always fun to see your preys face when they lost all hope. I didn't get to see it on this little girls face, but I sure do see it on your face, my dear Mikasa.

Farlman, a 4th racked noble, sucked the blood and killed Jessica right in front of us. Then went after Anthony and then Yuki, he killed them one by one. In the end there was only Yuu and I left. He was talking like it was all one big game.

Consumed by rage, I charged in and fought Farlman. Of course I knew that I didn't have a chance, but I still did. Surprising, I actually landed some pretty decent hits on him, they didn't do very much damage though. Turns out I wasn't the only one that was surprised, because when I managed to knock him down, another noble looked at me like if I did something impossible and then I saw the rage on his face. A fraction of a second later, before I knew it, he cut threw my stomach and then tried to cut off my arm. But for some reason he only managed to cut till the bone. He was again surprised and just before he was about to kill me, Farlman ordered him to stop. Now I wish he didn't give that order. Yuu ran as fast as he could and slide to my side.

-I thought you said not to charge in without a plan, he said while crying.

-Ya but I guess it's not as easy as it sounds when your family is slaughtered right before your eyes.

-Don't talk, where's the closest exit?

-Go up the stairs turn left and keep going straight, there will be an exit...

-OK

He started dragging me towards the stairs.

-YUU...I told you this so you can escape alone, I'll only slow you down.

-I won't leave you behind, I'm not going to leave my only family behind!

During this whole conversation he kept on dragging me. I finally pushed him off screaming:

-LEAVE THIS PLACE... I'm gonna die any seconds now anyways. I am only going to slow you down. And the plan will still work if you escape, if you die here the kids here will have no hope, but if they find out that you got out...YOU WILL BE HOPE FOR THESE KIDS...NOW GO!

I had to try really hard not cry, I'm pretty sure that it showed on my face, if I had started crying, Yuu wouldn't have left. After a few seconds, he looked at me and started cry when he decided to escape. I was so glad, but right before he got to the last step I thought of something and then said:

-Hey...Don't feel guilty, cause if you do I will find you and I will kill you.

I said that with a smile, I just hope it didn't make it harder for him.
