The next morning for once we didn't have a soldier waking us up early to train or anything so we could finally sleep in. I went to the meeting place the commander told us to meet at, I was the only one there so I thought I was late, but to make sure I waited on the couch for them. I ended up falling asleep. A few hours later the commander woke me up surprised that I was this early. I was so confused, but apparently we were only supposed to be here at 2h. It was 1:45 when I woke up on the couch; I left my room at 11h. I looked at him with a blank face. Fifteen minutes later everybody arrived, and they all had a surprised look on their face when they got here. When everybody got here the commander started:

-You must be wondering why I called you here. Well I'm sorry to ask you this right after you fought all those vampires with no higher ups, but the vampires are planning an attack. They know about the spies that we sent, they also know that we got all the information on their attacks. They will probably change a few things but they don't have enough time to change everything. Their plan was to launch a surprise attack at dusk, but since we know this information they'll probably attack earlier, or they'll just wait till tomorrow after we've been waiting all night for their attacks...

Then he explained their original plans and all the possible changes they may have did. I kinda shut down after a while and I'm pretty sure you don't want to bore yourselves with the details.

After that we went on the battle field. It was in one of the many abandoned towns. We didn't have to wait long till the vampires attacked. It looked like they were already there and just hiding waiting for the perfect moment to attack. By the looks of it they were sacrificing the whole first wave of attacks; they were all weak and possessed first level arms. They were big in numbers but it took no time to eliminate them, I guess they either underestimated us or they were trying to wear us down. Either way they're real cowards. It was so easy, but after about fifteen minutes the second class arm users came to attack, they were a bit tougher but still there were so many of them. Then I saw Farlman, I froze and almost lost the battle against the vampire, thank god Shinoa got me to snap out of it. I continued killing the second class vampires, they were probably mid class vampires, the first class arm users were probably mostly low class.

After, let's say 45 minutes a mysterious person wearing a black cloak appeared. All we could see was that black cloak so we had no idea if it was on our side or on theirs. I was sure that it was a vampire cause the army wouldn't higher a person that would cover their face like that we won't recognize them, at least I don't think. I looked at the commander and he looked just as surprise as everyone, then I looked at the vampires like usual they didn't have any expression. Then I saw Farlman and I just couldn't resist, like the total idiot I am, I charged right in. Of course some people tried to stop me but like usual I didn't listen (what a shocker).Anyways, he wasn't looking so it was the perfect opportunity to strike. But then the mysterious person that was just standing there finally moved, very quickly and stopped my blade at the last second. Now it was clear it was a vampire and god knows vampires will never be on our side. But then it said:

-I won't let you kill him, because unlike you, I have a huge grudge against him.

We still didn't see its face, we knew it was one of them but it wasn't on their side... Weird creature I tell you.

-How would you know, you're a vampire, and I have a huge grudge against all vampires.

I struk it in the stomach, but then I saw its face. I couldn't speak, and I could tell that she couldn't either.

-Activate the curse, do it now at this rate it's going to escape.
