Why did this happen(COMPLETE)

Chapter 8

We arrived in the town, the same town that ruined my life. I was taken to a closed off building. I guess it was the famous Nobles lodge cause it was all clean and all fancy. I followed Farlman to a room, he told me to sit down, then he told all the guards to leave the room and to untie me.

-You do know that vampires don't age, right.

-Of course I do!

-Well judging by your reaction, when you saw her you realized that she did indeed age since when you two last saw each other.

-Ya, what's your point.

-Oh right I didn't tell you, well when you left, I tried to make her drink my blood. Obviously, knowing how stubborn she is, you should guess that she said that she'd rather die than to become one of us.

-What do you mean one of you?!

-I was just about to get there. You see by drinking the blood of a noble you become a half vampire, to become a full one you have to drink on top of that the blood of a human. When I tried to make her she pushed me off exactly like she did this afternoon. Anyways, I had no idea how strong she was cause she did some damage to a noble, A HUMAN DID THAT! Before I just wanted to turn her to get information and obviously more blood. Anyways to get back to the point, after she started to run around, she's also really fast, I was more and more intrigued by the second. I mean she possessed the strength and speed of a vampire, and she pushed off a noble at full strength, WHEN SHE WAS IN CRITICAL CONDITION. Then she started head to head combat with a vampire, when she was about to die, was she trying to commit suicide or what.

-She was trying to lose the most blood possible or to get injured like that she would die before you got the chance to turn her. I didn't know she was as strong as you say, actually I always thought she was weak, but I do know that she's an amazing strategist. And humans aren't as weak as you think, I could have killed you if she didn't stop us.

-If that's what helps you sleep at night then I won't say anything. Anyways can I tell you the rest of the story? Okay so as she planed she lost to much blood but thank god I came in time because if not we would of lost her for good. So I made her drink my blood, when she became conscious again which was when she was still drinking, she was already crying, but then a different emotion made surface, rage. She kicked me off, I think I broke all my ribs and all bones on my right side. Some of my elites were there so without her noticing, they knocked her unconscious. We took her to a locked away sell that only selected vampires know about. Only the most dangerous people are there. Normally vampires can only last a day without drinking human blood. Nobles can last at the most 5 days, after that they go crazy and jump to the necks of any human they come across. Basically the stronger you are, the longer you can survive without drinking blood. There's also the choice of drinking the blood of the noble that turned you into a vampire, but that option is only possible if you're not a full vampire. Since her eyes were always covered I couldn't see if she turned or not, but it's probably that she did turn and is ashamed. Anyways to get back to the story, man she would kill me of she was here...

-WHY... Why would she kill you if you told me what happened?

-Because you'll probably fell even guiltier than you did before.

-I don't think that possible...

-Well let's just see after. To get back to the story, DO YOU EVEN WANT TO KNOW BECAUSE I WON'T WATSE MY TIME IF YOU'LL JUST INTERUPT ME?! Anyways, every day I would check on her, I would always bring a kid with me. After about five months I got bored so one day I went in her sell like always with a kid, but when she refused like she always did, I cut the kid. You could probably hear the screams from the end of the hall. The kid was barely alive when I was done with him, she still refused though. I left the kid where she could reach it if she wanted it. I'm still not sure how she lasted that long without drinking any blood , I even offered her some of my blood like that she could get some strength back because she looked like she could barely sit up on her own. After about ten months after she turned into a "half" vampire, I got really bored of just torturing children in front of her, so one day I just walked in and asked her if she wanted to drink the kids blood, she still refused I asked her again, the answer was the same so I said that it was her fault and killed the kid right before her eyes then I said that the kids blood was on her hands. She looked up but I was already gone. I heard her swearing from the first floor. I was still bored and disappointed that she wouldn't drink the blood, but at least I finally got a reaction. A year passed since she drank my blood and I was so bored that I asked one of my solders to ask and kill a kid in her sell. I think it was a week and a couple of days after I stopped going down there that I got the alert of an escaped prisoner and she was the only prisoner I had at the time. For the first time in two months I smiled. She killed all the guards that were guarding the area, there were a thousand elites in those that she killed, and she wasn't a full vampire wet! She escaped and we've been searching for her ever since. Then she just popped up at the fight where you were. And that brings us to now.

I looked at him, I was so angry but I didn't have anything to say. He was right I did fell guiltier than before. I was glad that she was alive but now I feel so guilty, if I would have escaped with her she would have died as a human and wouldn't of had to go through hell. I headed for the exit when Farlman stopped me.

-One last thing, When you get back can you check her eye color?

-Why?

-Never noticed uh... Vampires all have red colored eyes, and keep in mind that not drinking enough blood, for a vampire is the most painful torture. I think you know where I'm going with this, right?

-Loud and clear.

I walked outside, and they drove me to the fake base. When they dropped me off, some of our soldiers took me back, they took me straight to the commander. Apparently he was recovering from a wound that Farlman gave him in their fight so he didn't get the chance to talk to Mikasa. He was really mad at her, I don't know why but I guess I'll find out soon.
