I didn't need to look to know where everything is, so no need to show my eyes anymore. I ran to the forest to get far away from them.

-You okay, I mean are your injuries bothering you.

-No, I simply answered.

I took him to a high tree because the vampires were already searching. It was getting dark so we stayed there for the night, I don't think Yuu slept very well but it was the only safe place I could think of. All the caves in the forest are a habitat for creatures and if you just camp on ground the vampires will find us or a creature will. That's the way it works now in this cruel world. I woke up after Yuu for once, I was surprised cause he was stuck in a sell for over a month, not knowing when the guards could attack. It must of freaked him out.

-Morning sleepyhead.

-Good morning...

-No clever comebacks come to mind? A once in a life time sight to see, Mikasa doesn't have something smart to say.

-Shut up... Anyways what time is it?

-I don't know, I don't have a watch on me and I can't tell time just by looking at the sun like you. Why don't you just see for yourself?

-Never mind it's not important.

I guess it's gonna be a little harder with no eyes, just gotta get use to it that's all. I heard many footsteps in the grown heading our way, I'm guessing it's more of Farlman's troops.

-We gotta go...

-Why, what's happening?

-They will find us soon if we stay here.

-How do you know?

-Look, at 10 o'clock.

-My god... B-but how did you know they were there?

-... I just did...

I grabbed him and started running again. We got to headquarters about an hour later. Everybody welcomed Yuu with open arms. I noticed a few new presences, I guess they were new recruits. I could feel their curious gaze upon me. These new friends that I had just met decided to attack me. I stopped their blades with my hands while making sure that I didn't cut myself. The commander came at that instant. He soon said:

-Now first lesson, you guys, don't you dare hurt my sister, understand?

-Your sister, that you've been talking so highly about all this time, is a vampire!?

-You have a problem with that? I soon said.

I said it with a serious look in my eyes, they were actually covered but whatever, I don't know how to explain it. They just stared at me, one of them was so scared, it was like he was about to piss his pants.

-Jeez, can't you tell when someone's telling a joke. Loosen up.

They were very hesitant, their reactions were priceless though. It was so funny.

-May I ask, why there is a vampire in the army?

-You've got guts kid, usually humans that see a vampire at this range either try to kill it or they look like your comrades over there. You know that's a good quality you've got, at least it's good on the battle field, here it can get you killed.

-That's enough Hiroyky. It's fine.

-... Okay, so we have to train the new recruits and Yuu could get a little more training. Oh and we also need to test Mikasa's limits.
